Happy Tuesday

Hi Everyone, just a brief update for you. I have some minor revisions to do for LAST CHANCE and will be working on them over the next few weeks. In between this, I'll be blogging at different locations. I'll post these locations sometime this weekend. There will be giveaways, so stay tuned!

LAST CHANCE excerpt might be delayed a bit since I'm in the midst of revisions. I know...I know. So frustrating. But I promise, it will be worth the wait. My editor loved the book but there was one issue I let the hero get away with that she just couldn't abide. Since I want everyone to love Lucas as much as I do, I'll soften it just a bit. I thought his motive was totally understandable, but others might not feel that way. It will take me a little extra time to change this, so please be patient!

I am so excited about all the books in my upcoming trilogy. I think each one is unique in its own way. My heroes are courageous and yummy and my heroines are strong and resilient. Each book turned out even better than I thought it would. Love it when that happens!

I've received so many wonderful emails over the last six months since the release of my first book, RESCUE ME. I can't tell you how much that means to me. Knowing that people have enjoyed reading my books is just so amazing and thrilling. Thank you! Recently I received an email from a reader who wanted to know if a book is written, why does it take so long to get on the shelf. I thought this was an excellent question. Though I'm still quite new at this and learn something new everyday, I'm going to attempt to answer this question. Since I'm getting a late start on my writing today, I'll postpone answering until next week. But thanks to Rhonda for asking such a great question.

Okay, that's it for this week. Got to dig deep and get Lucas out of trouble!

Till later!

Hi Christy
Did you change your banner? Your site looks pretty cool (it always did anyway). What does your editor know anyway? He/she should have gotten our opinion. We would have told them it was perfect the way it was LOL.

I've heard of heroes being the 'bad boy' type, but in trouble before the book even comes out? That's a BAD boy!
Of course, you know we're all going to be asking you to dish on these latest changes. Very intriguing.
All three new books sound terrific.

Hi Mary, how does the banner look different? I don't see any difference on my computer. But it's great that it looks cool!

LOL. My editor knows how to make a book better, believe me. Every suggestion she's made helped to make the stories stronger. I get tunnel vision when I'm writing and can't always see where I'm going wrong.

Maybe, once the book releases, I'll share the change I made. Should make for an interesting discussion!

Hey Kara, Lucas is the coolest hero I've ever written. Just doesn't react the way most people think he should. He surprised me more than once. Which, I guess when he did 'the thing' I had to change, probably went too much out of character for him.

Can't wait to share the story with everyone!

Hi Christy
Your name looks bigger & it looks brighter. Is it just my imagination?

Not sure, Mary. It looks the same to me, but yesterday, it seemed that every site I went to looked different than it usually does. So odd.

Anyway, thanks for noticing!
