Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

Hope you had a great weekend and you're planning on recommending some fabulous books to us.

I'm making this blog short and sweet today. Got lots to do on CHANCES ARE. I think Jake, Angela and I have finally hit our stride and we're headed for the home stretch. This might be the longest novella in novella history but I'm hoping to see the end this week--or at least a reasonable facsimile.

So tell us, what great books did you read last week that we should be reading, too?

Have a great week everyone. And I really, really hope that very very soon I'll be sharing all of CHANCES ARE with you. Wish us luck!

Hi Christy/All!

I read the two latest in the Marie Force Fatal series, and LOVED them both. I love this series and am sure most everyone here has read it, but if you haven't, you MUST.

Nick is one of my romance book boyfriends, . Does everyone else pick romance book boyfriends? Christy?

Good luck with the writing this week, super excited for you to share it with us all.

Hi Christy and Everyone!
Christy I can´t wait to finally meet with Angela and Jake and hopefully with some other members of LCR. Any idea jet about a release date?

I read Cindy Gerards first book in her One-Eyed Jack series "Killing Time" - we met the hero Mike "Primetime" Brown in Cindy´s last BOI book "Last Man Standing" and he seemed to be so upbeat I never would have guessed what he went through. I highly recommend this book and as a special bonus we meet Gabe Jones again ( he is one of my all time favourite heroes - or as Tara put it - one of my romance book boyfriends).

Happy reading Everyone and good luck with Jake and Angela, Christy!

Christy- good luck with Jake and Angela.

I read Aftershock by Jill Sorenson.
A lot of you recommended it last week so I decided to bump it up on my list. It was pretty good, I will be watching for the next book in May, I think called Freefall.

Happy Reading!

Hi Tara! Yes, I absolutely have romance book boyfriends: Ian from Judith McNaught's Almost Heaven, Abe from Karen's Rose's I'm Watching You and Julian Darcangelo from Pamela Clare's Hard Evidence. Every time I think of these guys, I always sigh happily. (:

Hi Elke! I'm hoping for a late February or early March release for CHANCES ARE. I hate that I'm running so far behind on this but, as you know, writing was difficult for several weeks. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things though. So glad you're looking forward to reading it.

Hi KC! Glad you enjoyed Aftershock. I'm looking forward to Freefall, too.

It's a bright beautiful day in my town with a temp of 75 degrees. I'm enjoying it because by the weekend we'll be back down in the low 40s. Can't complain though.

Like Elke, I read Cindy Gerard's "Killing Time" and highly recommend it to romantic suspense lovers. I think her new One-Eyed Jack series is going to be another hit for her.

Off to do some exercising and then try out a new author's debut book.

Have a great week everyone!

Geez I feel like it's been ages since I've been here. I have nothing to blame either except getting old and forgetfulness.

I read Cindy Gerard's Killing Time. I've been waiting FOREVER for this book and of course in Cindy fashion it didn't disappoint. Loved Primetime!! Can't wait for the next one to come out.

Tara I have so many book boyfriends I am probably a fictional whore...(is that allowed to be said here?) I have so many characters that I am in love with it's ridiculous for sure.

Christy... I am so excited to hear this may be the longest novella in novella history. Nothing makes me happier. I'm so excited to dig into the LCR world again. I'm sure Jake will be added to my list of boyfriends as well.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Hi Anne, that's our weather for today. 75 and sunny. We're expecting major storms today though, with possible tornadoes. Hoping they don't materialize! Hope you enjoyed your warm, sunny day.

Hey Crystal! So happy you're looking forward to the longest novella in novella history, CHANCES ARE. I know I've been talking about Angela's story forever and I cannot wait for you guys to meet her and Jake. I think you'll love their addition to the LCR series.
