Well, here in Canada, we don't celebrate our Armed Forces in May, we do so in November.......but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate the efforts of the military of our northern neighbors!!!!! We did however have a long weekend LAST weekend as we celebrated the Queen's Birthday...Canada is part of the British Commonwealth.

I'm currently reading Christi Snow's Operation series...(1)Operation Endgame, (2) Operation Endurance , (3) Operation Endevour....excellent books, great storytelling, hot and sexy romance and a fair bit of humor thrown in for good measure!!!! There is also a novella tossed in between #2 and #3.

Hope everyone enjoys their day off!!!!

Hi Christy,

Happy Memorial Day!

I have not listed books for awhile so some of these I read over the last month or more but definitely worth reading.

1. Rage by Debra Webb, Book 4 in the Faces of Evil series; you will want to read the first three guaranteed;

2. Midnight Sacrifice by Melinda Leigh, Book 2 in the Midnight series;

3. Buried by Kendra Elliot, Book 3 in the Bone Secrets series;

4. Midnight Secrets by Ella Grace, Book 1 in The Wildefire series;

5. A Tained Mind by Tamsen Schultz. I had never read this author but she sent me a message asking me to read it. It is her second book. It is a very good book. You would not know that she is a relatively new author. I expect that she will do well.

I will stop by again. I do enjoy reading RS! I also like series, if you haven't guessed!

Happy Memorial Day! I wish you and your family a well-rested and fun day :)

I recommend the Faces of Evil series by Debra Webb. The first book is OBSESSION. I quickly went through all the books thus far and am already anticipating the next installment.

Happy Reading.

Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful holiday weekend!

First up, TANGLED by Emma Chase - fantastic. Beware it's written in first person from the male lead's POV. Guaranteed to make you laugh-out-loud!

S.R. Grey's "Harbour Falls Mystery" series kept me on the edge-of-my-seat with uncertainty as to who the darn bad guy(s)/gal(s) really were!

Last but not least, DARK PLACES, by Gillian Flynn. A gripping thriller that will certainlyy wear on your nerves. Very well written.

That's it from sunny Oklahoma. And there's definitely some grilling going on in the backyard today, along with swimming and homemade ice cream!! Come join us!

Oklanannie,

I read Gone Girl and liked it. If you read GG and liked it, is Dark Places as good?

Sarah,

I loved She Can Tell. The next one, She Can Scream, according to Amazon is being released in Sept. 2013.

Thanks everyone. There are new authors and/or books that I will check out!

This week brought lots of good things in my house. I read two books that I loved, my niece was born AND named after me and my son won another karate tournament.

The books are both by Sylvia Day and not so new anymore but...
Reflected In You & Bared To You (both awesome and can't wait for the 3rd).

I also did a reread of the first LCR books, they never get old, can't wait to see where this series heads next.

Have a great week everyone!!
