Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

So sorry I'm late. Busy Monday already and I don't think it's going to slow down for a while. Which is great. Keeps me out of trouble. :)

Since I am running behind, thought I'd make this one short. I'm in the middle of reading Halfway to the Grave by Jeannine Frost and loving it. It's not my regular kind of read, which is great, too. Love finding new authors and different kinds of reads. And who could resist a hero like Bones? Oh my. Sigh... :)

Did some major surgery on NOTHING TO LOSE last week and I believe I'm finally headed in the right direction. Had to cut thousands of words but better to do that now, than write the whole book and realize it's not what I want. May take me longer but the last thing I want to do is put out a book that I'm not happy with. Thanks so much for everyone's patience. I promise it will pay off!

Okay, here's the new cover for CHANCES ARE I've been promising you. Designed by the amazingly talented cover artist PickyMe, I think this cover gives the suspenseful ambiance of the story. And I love the colors! Even though it'll be a few more weeks before it goes up, I couldn't wait any longer to show it off. Let me know what you think.

And now, tell us what you read last week that you loved.

Have a great day all!

Absolutely gorgeous cover, Christy!!

Glad you're heading down the path you're happy with on NTL...but don't cut too many words! :)

So, somehow I had acquired the first two books in Sawyer Bennett's Off series. I typically don't read what I guess is classified as New Adult, but I ended up reading and enjoying the entire series. But, be forwarned, the ebooks have lots of typos and grammatical errors (another thing that usually really annoys me...but this was not enough for me to drop the books). I really enjoyed the stories quite a bit.

Good Monday morning everyone! Fall is bringing lovely colors to my town and I'm enjoying them all, along with the cool crisp air, too.

Just finished Pamela Clare's novella, FIRST STRIKE and would recommend it to one and all. Can't wait for the full story in STRIKING DISTANCE to be released soon.

Hi Everyone!
Love the cover Christy. You know we wait patiently ( some maybe not so patiently.lol) for every new book of yours. They are always worth waitin for.

I read "Waiting fro Wren", Cate Beaumans 5th book in her Bodygards of L.A. series last week and I absolutely loved it. I think its the best in this series, although the other ones are pretty good as well.

Have a great week Everyone!

Hi Christy! Love the new cover!!

I read and really enjoyed the first 3 books in Cynthia Eden's Mine series...Mine to Take, Mine to Keep and Mine to Hold. The hero's are uber alpha and the villians are creepy!

Have a good week everyone!

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around in a few weeks. I started a new, part-time job in one of our local casinos and the hours are NUTS.....and part-time can turn into almost full-time some weeks. Needless to say, when I'm not at work, I'm sleeping. The good news is that backshift leaves me with some reading time when it is slow!!

Christy, I love the new cover....hot and sexy!! I can see bookstore customers being drawn right to it!

Now on to my recommends....Since I've been here last I've read several great books. First is the second book in Tonya Burrows series, Wilde Security -- Wilde for Her. This was just released today and it is a great read. Tonya is a fairly new author and she is excellent. I highly recommend her.

I also finished Dianna Love's series, Slye Temp. There are 4 books in this series; Last Chance to Run, Nowhere Safe, Honeymoon to Die For and Kiss the Enemy. I was actually disappointed when I finished the last one, they were that good. I recommend that you read them in order as the characters and storylines bring up things that happen in previous books. They could be "stand alone" but some might find it confusing. I’m really hoping Dianna Love has plans for more books in this series, they are a few characters that I would certainly like to read more about!!!!

Finally I want to recommend Cate Beauman's new release, Waiting for Wren. This is the 5th book in her Bodyguards of LA County series. This whole series is terrific.

I hope you all have a great week!! Autumn had really arrived in Nova Scotia, the leaves are spectacular and the air is nice and crisp…one of my favourite times of the year!!
