Finally Friday

Hey All--

Friday finally got here. Yay! Hope you had a good week and are planning a fun weekend filled with all of your favorite things, most especially good reads!

I'm expecting page proofs to arrive anytime, so it'll be a busy weekend for me, but being blessed with work is a wonderful thing! And since this is my LAST CHANCE to change or add anything to LAST CHANCE, I'm definitely looking forward to it. (I'm so going to miss playing with these titles) (:

If you get the CHANCE, stop in and tell us what you're reading this weekend. And don't forget to come by on Monday and give us your recommendations from the great books you read. We may have a special guest drop by to say hi. I know she's incredibly busy so I won't mention her name in case she can't make it, but if she does, I know you guys will be thrilled!

Okay, that's it for me until Monday, but feel free to talk amongst yourself. I'll drop in from time to time and chat. Have a warm, safe and restful weekend!

Hey Christy!!!!*waves*
I am busy this weekend. So I see NO CHANCE to rest.
Today my son is 10, I am making a cake, and trying to get laundry done.

Tomorow we are taking him shopping, and out to one of his favorite places to eat so he can have the nasty squid that he likes to eat..*yuck* he keeps trying to get me to eat it, but i tell him there is NO CHANCE that is going to happen!!

And still try squeeze in the LAST CHANCE finish up his Science fair projects. *sigh*

I am also trying to get the SECOND CHANCE to start reading Lord of Misrule by Rachel Cain.

So I will be very busy, I will try to check back in if I get the CHANCE.

Everyone have a Great weekend!!!!

Ida, there is NO CHANCE that I could keep up with you.

Hope your son has an awesome birthday and thoroughly enjoys his squid. (:

Have a great weekend!

So, just in case you didn't hear me screaming with joy early this morning - We have a snow day!!!! Finally, a CHANCE to stay home with absolutely no plans and no way to get anywhere even if we wanted to! Seriously, no grown woman should be this happy about a snow day.
Just finished the third Stephanie Tyler SEAL book. (The kids got hungry, and there was NO CHANCE they would wait for me to finish reading, so I had to put it away for a while. Got a SECOND CHANCE to read earlier this afternoon, and finished it.) Hope that wasn't my LAST CHANCE to read for the weekend. Surely not.
I've read some new releases as well as re-read some favorites lately, so what to read next? I don't know right now. Must go enjoy some time with the boys (did I mention we have a snow day?).
I promise to read something good and report back on Monday! Happy weekend everyone.

Okay, you guys are really showing me up with the CHANCE writing. Great job, Ida and Kara! Can't wait until the new titles are announced to see what you'll do with those.

Kara, I hope you had a fabulous snow day. Did you actually get any snow? We had a cold rain here in Bama. Hopefully it won't turn to ice.

Enjoy your weekend and some great books. Talk with you on Monday!

Kara
Great to get a snow day on a day before the weekend. Enjoy.
Ida Happy Birthday to you Aquarian son. Lots of Aquarians in my family & one of my best friends is one too. Hey Christy when's your birthday? Don't need the year just want to know your sign.

Hey Ida, thanks for stopping by again. It's been a slow chatting day. Everyone must be curled up with a good book. (:

Hey Mary, I'm a May girl. Very much a Taurus. Got a major stubborn streak. Sigh...or so I've been told. (:

Hope you're feeling better!

Hi Christy
Yes I went back to work today & I played pretty good tennis tonight. Had a caffeine drink at supper LOL so that helped. Even got some reading done that we'd spoken about. My mom's a Taurus too. Maybe you guys are stubborn but your not full of bull LOL.

Hey Mary, glad you're feeling better and got some reading done.

Have a great weekend!

Hey Ida, Mary, and Christy!
The snow day is over, but the snow is still here. We started with mostly ice, which was enough to close schools (and everything else around here!) We did finally get some snow as well. I'm sure I'll be out in it again today, dodging slushy, dirty, snowballs thrown by my son! Gonna read until he wakes up! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Do you ever signed just Kara on blogs? A Kara (no C) won Coming Undone by Lauren Dane but now I can't remember where. If it is you, you might remember. Sorry I meant to tell you yesterday.

Thanks, Mary. That's another Kara, believe it or not. That's a good book though. :)
