FEARLESS Update!

 Hello Readers! It's me again. Just wanted to give you a quick update. Due to some life and family obligations, I am not going to be able to release Fearless this spring as I had hoped. I know that's frustrating because you want to know if Sean and Serena will ever have their well deserved happy ending. And while I'm still a few chapters away from giving them one, I promise you they will have one. I still don't have a release date and I refuse to give one only to have to change it later on. However, I do have this for you, to give you an idea of what to look forward to with their story. It's completely unedited, so please forgive any typos or errors. Again, I hope to have good news for you soon. Until then, here's the Fearless synopsis for you to ponder.

 

Will her darkest hour become his last chance for redemption?

 

Having pushed the horror of his past down to the deepest part of his soul, Sean Donavan had forced himself to become someone else. Someone who had no heart, no soul, and little humanity. He devoted himself to his profession, existing within the limited confines of a man with no purpose other than survival. Then one spring day, a young woman bumped into him and his entire life changed. His bitter, ice-coated heart melted and for the first time in years, he allowed himself to feel. Happiness as he’d never imagined existed for him and he was at peace.

After surviving her own devastating loss, Serena never believed she would find love again. When she met Sean, she knew in an instant that her prayers had been answered. She fell in love and married her hero, expecting a long, beautiful life ahead. She saw the courageous, kindhearted man beneath Sean’s mask of pain and sorrow. The life they were building was exactly what she’d dreamed of having with him.

And then it all came tumbling down.

In the midst of heartache, evil attacked. Like a runaway locomotive, Sean’s past comes roaring toward him, taking out everything within its path. He never anticipated that Serena would be caught in the aftermath. Now she’s been taken, and it’ll take every ounce of their fortitude and faith in each other to withstand the hell they face.

But true love has no limits and courage knows no boundaries. They’ll do what they have to do to make it back to each other. With the help of their OZ partners, Serena and Sean will face down evil, bring it to justice, and make those responsible pay.

Fearless Update

 Hello Wonderful Readers!

I know it's been a while since I last checked in with you. I hope all is well and you're enjoying this lovely Fall weather. Several of you have messaged and emailed me, asking about the status of Fearless, OZ book #6. Just wanted to let you know I'm still working with Sean and Serena to give them their well-deserved happy ever after. Due to a few distractions, I haven't been able to write as fast as I had hoped. I wanted to release the book before the end of the year but now I'm focusing on a a late March or early April, 2026, release. I know that seems like a long time, but I don't want to release a book that's just not ready. My readers deserve to have the best reading experience I can give them. And honestly, I'm putting these characters through so much, they've earned a good story!

So that's where I am currently. As soon as I have a definite release date, I'll send out a newsletter announcing it with pre-order links.

I am sorry I can't get Fearless to you sooner, but hopefully the story will be well worth the wait.

Happy Anniversary Rescue Me!

Wow. It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since my first book, Rescue Me, was released. The book that launched a 15 book series introduced Noah McCall and the Last Chance Rescue organization to the world. I have so many wonderful memories of that day, but one thing I never anticipated was all the wonderful people I would meet in my fifteen years of publishing. I have been blessed to be able to write what I love, and it's all due to my fabulous readers and the people who supported me. Thank you everyone for reading my books, as well as the encouragement and advice of so many writing professionals. You helped make my dreams come true. Bless you all!

I'm Still Here!

 

Hello Wonderful Readers! 

 

I was talking to my mom the other day and she asked if I was feeling less stressed now that I'm no longer writing. I was astounded that she thought I had given up writing. It got me to thinking that if someone I talk to almost on a daily basis thinks I'm no longer writing, what are you guys thinking?

 

So I'm here to tell you that I have not stopped writing. Yes it's taking me an extraordinarily long time to finish this book. There are a lot of reasons for that and I won't bore you with them. Most of them are self-imposed and extremely mundane. However, I work on Heartless every single day. Once the book is released, I will share with you some issues I had with the plotting. Don't want to tell you about them yet since I'm still dealing with them. I'm weird like that! 

 

I would love to be able to release a book for you every few months but that's just not who I am. And the older I get, the slower I get. But please don't give up on me! 

 

In the meantime, I hope life is treating you well and you are enjoying all the beauty this world has to offer.

As soon as I have a release date, I will announce it to the world.

News and Updates

 

Well, they say life happens when you're busy making other plans and that's what happened to me. I had planned to release two books this year. However, the distractions of life got in the way and my writing took a huge hit. As much as I hate to say this, I need to let you guys know that I won't have a new book out this year.

 

I'm still writing HEARTLESS. I love the storyline, and Olivia and Hawke are wonderful characters--strong, brave, resilient but damaged. My favorite kind of characters to write. It's not them--it's me!

 

Please don't give up on me and think I've stopped writing. I haven't. But the last thing I want to do is release a book that I know is not my best work. That would be a betrayal to my readers and I won't do that to you.

 

So, my plan is to release HEARTLESS early next year. How early, I'm not sure. As soon as I know, I promise you will know, too.

 

The OZ characters have captured my imagination as well as my heart, and I'm looking forward to sharing more of their stories with you. It's just going to take a little longer than I'd planned. But we'll get there!

I so appreciate your support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me.

Hello Everyone!

I'm so excited to share the cover of MERCILESS with you. The first book in my Option Zero series has been sent to my editor and we now have a release date of February 25, 2020. Though it took me much longer to write than I anticipated, I think you're going to love Asher Drake and Jules Stone's love story. With all the action of my Last Chance Rescue series and the mystery and intrigue of my Grey Justice series, Option Zero takes the stakes higher and farther. 

More to come soon on the book and the series, but until then, feast your eyes on MERCILESS.

New Series

Hello Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. It's been a busy summer. Lots of family stuff and issues came my way. But that's life! I am happy to report that my new series, Option Zero, is coming along. The first book, Merciless, is going well and I hope to release it within the next few months. More on that soon!

Even though we're still a few months away from release, I did want to tell you a little bit about OZ. If you remember in Running Strong, the last LCR Elite book, Elite Operative Olivia Gates went to see a man named Asher Drake, the leader of Option Zero. OZ was instrumental in gathering the intel to bring down the Fletchers and help save Giselle.

Option Zero is an elite group of mercenaries who operate under the radar. They take on jobs no one else wants or can do.

Asher Drake has not had an easy life but he has a purpose and he has skills. He uses both as leader of Option Zero to right wrongs and bring evil people to justice. In Merciless, you'll see him use those skills with both precision and incredible focus.

The Option Zero series is a combination of the thrills, chills, and action adventure of the LCR Elite and the mystery and intrigue of the Grey Justice Series. If you enjoyed either series, you will enjoy my new OZ series.

Just a quick note of thanks to all my readers for making the release week of Running Strong so successful. I'm thrilled that you are loving Raphael and Giselle's love story along with the appearance of so many of your favorite LCR characters. Since this was the last LCR book, I wanted to get in as much information about each character as possible. So many readers have told me it felt like a homecoming for them and that makes me so happy.

Though it's sad that this was the last LCR book, as you can see Last Chance Rescue is still Running Strong. Noah McCall and the LCR gang will continue to rescue innocents and bring evil people to justice.

Running Strong Release Update

Hey All! Sorry it's been a while since I posted. Wanted to give you an update on the release of Running Strong. I'm almost finished with the first draft and will spend the next few weeks revising the story before sending it to my editor. Since there was a delay, I had to find a new spot that my editor had open, so the book won't be released as early as I'd hoped. However, I do plan on a late March release. That's longer than I had wanted but I'm hopeful once you read Giselle and Raphael's love story, you'll forget about how long your wait was for this one.

As soon as the release date is set, I'll send out a notice to my newsletter subscribers so you can pre-order if you like.

After Running Strong is released, I do plan to begin a new series. You'll get a glimpse of a couple of characters in Running Strong. I can't wait to get more information about them so I can start writing their stories!
