My Weekly Hi

Hi All

Just wanted to let you know I'm still working happily away on LAST CHANCE. I'm really loving McKenna and Lucas. They're two of the most unique characters I've ever created. And on April 27, 2010, I sincerely hope you love them just as much!

Copy edits for SECOND CHANCE were delivered this morning. So in between writing LAST CHANCE, I'll be working on those. Which means two things. I'm going to be very busy, which you know I love. But also, as soon as the copy edits are complete, I will be posting an excerpt of SECOND CHANCE on my website. Yay! Thanks again for everyone's patience. I can't wait to share it with you, I promise!

Okay, retreating back into my little writing cave. Hope you're having a fabulous week and that your days are filled with sunshine and great books you can curl up with and enjoy.

Happy Monday and Goodbye Summer

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to let you know I'm still here and still writing. LAST CHANCE is due in a few weeks, so I probably won't be posting too much until I finish it. Also, just received word that copy edits on SECOND CHANCE will be here soon. So, busy, busy, busy for me. And I'm loving it!

The good news is that as soon as copy edits of SECOND CHANCE are done, I'll be posting an excerpt. Yay! I've received so many kind emails wanting to know more and I thank you for your patience. Just a few more weeks, I promise.

Can you believe this is the last day of summer? Where has the year gone? It's been raining just about the entire month of September. Yesterday I was coming out of church and the sun was shining. It was a glorious sight. And then it disappeared and the rain started again. Hopefully it'll dry up soon, but I must admit that rainy weather always puts me in the mood to write. Which is great!

Quick Update

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I'm just popping in to give you a heads-up. I'm finishing up the page proofs for NO CHANCE and they're going out tomorrow. This is my LAST CHANCE to make changes. My SECOND CHANCE was during copy edits and after this I have NO CHANCE.

Okay, I know that was a corny way to plug my book titles but it was fun...at least for me.

After the page proofs get sent out, I'm locking myself in my office because LAST CHANCE is due in October. However, I did want to tell you that before I lock myself in, I am going to be posting the back cover blurb for SECOND CHANCE. The excerpt is still a few weeks away, but at least you'll get to read what the book will be about. Everyone has been so patient and I so appreciate your interest. I'll try to have it up early next week. When it posts, I'll pop on and let you know and will have another giveaway. Yay!

Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day

Hi Everyone, just popping in to wish everyone a good Monday and happy holiday for some.

I'm in the midst of working on page proofs for NO CHANCE and writing LAST CHANCE. It's kind of cool because McKenna, the heroine of LAST CHANCE, is introduced in NO CHANCE, so I can go back and forth between the two manuscripts and get to know her even better. I have loved all of my heroes and heroines, but I must say that McKenna Sloane and Lucas Kane are becoming very dear to me. So intriguing...brave yet so vulnerable. And, oh my, the villain is just hideous. Every time I write a scene of him, I want to smack him.

Still hoping to get an excerpt up of SECOND CHANCE within the next few weeks. I like to wait until I receive the copy edited version of a book before I post an excerpt. That way I can make sure it's as accurate as possible. I've received numerous emails asking about SECOND CHANCE and when I'm going to put out more information about it. I promise, it's coming soon!

Hi All, though my contests are usually several contests throughout the day, with the first commenter winning, I'm on deadline, which means I need to be writing. LAST CHANCE is due in a month!
