Good Monday All!

Is it springtime where you are? It's lovely here. Flowers are blooming, the cherry blossoms and dogwood blossoms are competing to see who can have the most blooms and bumble bees are practically salivating with all of the juicy choices they have before them. I do love Spring!

How was your week and weekend? Do anything fabulously fun or read something so wonderful you couldn't wait to share it with us? If so, let us know so we can rush out and get them before they're all gone!

I have a recommend for you today, a bit self-serving but sincere. SWEET JUSTICE by Christy Reece. (: I'm in the midst of copyedits and I'd forgotten how much I love this book! Okay, so the villain is uber creepy, freaky and altogether eeky (sounds like he's from the Addam's family) but justice does prevail. And Honor and Seth are so much fun. Brave, courageous and just really good people and their heat index is off-the-charts steamy! I might possibly have an excerpt for you later this week, so stay tuned!

Has anyone seen the cover for SWEET REVENGE? I haven't posted it yet because it's not the final version. If you click on to the buy sites from my website, you'll see it. Let me know what you think!

Good news! Found out that SWEET REWARD is going to release this year! So mark your calendars for December 27 because Jared and Mia will be in stores that day. Yay!

I just now finalized my plans for the RT Convention in LA. Kept waiting for those pesky too-high prices to drop, which didn't happen, so I bit the bullet. Anyone else going to be at RT? If so, be sure to come by for the signing on Saturday, April 9. I'll have chocolate...and oh yeah, books to sell too. (:

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 26. We'll start our Last Chance Rescue books discussion that day with RETURN TO ME. So if you've been thinking about an LCR reread, that's a good place to start. I'll share backstory, surprises and there will be giveaways!

Okay, that's it for me. I'm headed back to the land of Seth and Honor. I've read through this book three times since I started on the copyedits and the last time, I managed to not sob. Yay, I'm getting tougher!

Copy edits came for SWEET JUSTICE on Saturday and I'll start on them tomorrow as soon as SWEET REVENGE is out the door. And whenever I get copy edits, that always means that an excerpt is coming soon. So stay tuned! I'm looking forward to visiting with Honor and Seth again and I can't wait to share their story with you!

What do you think about the website changes so far? If you're saying, what changes? Let me point them out to you, because they are kind of subtle, in a way. If you put your cursor over Books, you'll see a list of each LCR book that will take you to its own page or the book page. And, you can get a printable list of the LCR books. Also, on the books page, you'll see I added the main characters for each book. More changes coming soon, especially to my home page, so stay tuned!

Also, you may have heard about this already and I don't have all the details of the auction yet, but a week or so ago, a blogger/reviewer and great friend to the romance community lost her husband in a tragic and senseless act of violence. An auction to assist the family is being held, with lots of different prizes and opportunities for you. As soon as I get more details, I'll let you know so you can have an opportunity to bid. Great prizes, such as signed books, lunch with an author, author and agent critiques and much more! The auction is scheduled for the last week in March and I'll put out a link so you can peruse the items. Stay tuned!

Good Morning All!

How was your week and weekend? Did you do anything fun you want to share or read something so wonderful you could hardly wait until Recommend Monday to tell us about it? Please, let us know what it is!

My week was oh so good! Dylan and Jamie finished strong. Yay! Now I'm in the midst of revising and polishing. Funnily enough, since Dylan is so closed mouth, this is the longest book I've ever written. The man continues to challenge me. (:

Guess you noticed that the website changes are in progress. It's going to take a few days to get everything just the way I want, but I'm really looking forward to the new look. And, oh yeah, the back cover blurb for SWEET REVENGE is coming...most likely this week, so check back often!

I'm excited that so many of you are saying yes to an LCR monthly book discussion, leading up to the release of SWEET JUSTICE. How does Wednesday, April 20, sound for the first one? Since we just had a discussion a couple of months ago for RESCUE ME, we'll start with RETURN TO ME. However, if you're interested in talking about RESCUE ME, that's great too...especially since there's a strong tie between them.

Today, I have a recommend and a giveaway! Well, this book has been recommended by many of you already, but I'd forgotten that when I met the lovely author several months ago, I purchased her first book in her new series so I could give it away. Sigh, better late that never! Anyway, it's a great beginning to a wonderful new romantic suspense series. Oh, what's the book? Deadly Fear by Cynthia Eden. The other two in the series are already out, so if you've not read them, this'll be a great opportunity for you to get started.

So, the first person who comments on this blog with the exact words of: "I want an autographed copy of Deadly Fear by Cynthia Eden" wins!

Tuesday's Tidbits

Hey All-

What an amazing day I had yesterday. How can I love Dylan and Jamie more than I already do? I didn't think it was possible...yesterday they proved me wrong. I cannot wait for you to get to know these two stubborn, courageous and tortured people!

And though it's still not over (one chapter left), I see a bright and shining HEA on the horizon. Does it seem like I've been writing Dylan and Jamie's story forever? Don't answer that! Someday, I'll have to tell you the story behind the story of D&J.

A week or so ago, I got a sneak preview of the cover for SWEET REVENGE and it's looking dark, mysterious and oh, so sexy. They're tweaking it a bit and I'm hoping to see a new version sometime this week. I cannot wait to share it with you.

Once the deadlines have slowed down a bit, I want to do something a little different. I thought it'd be fun to take an LCR book a month, leading up to the release of SWEET JUSTICE, and talk about it. There will be spoilers, back story and little tidbits I've never shared before. Since we just finished up a discussion on Marie Force's blog for RESCUE ME, (thank you Marie and Hope!) I thought we'd start in April with RETURN TO ME, then RUN TO ME in May and so on. Then finish up with LAST CHANCE, right before the August 30 release. What do you all think?

Copyedits will be here soon for SWEET JUSTICE and that always means that a website excerpt is next. I'm hoping to post one around the first of April, so stay tuned for that.

Also, within the next couple of weeks, if not sooner, I'll post the back cover blurb for SWEET REVENGE. Every time I think about where this book went, I have to smile. Jamie and Dylan took it in a completely different direction than I originally intended. And wow, I'm so glad they did!

Soon, it will be time to start on SWEET REWARD, Jared Livingston and Mia Ryker's book. You'll get a strong glimpse of Jared in SWEET JUSTICE, and a good idea of his dark and mysterious past. I'm already loving this multi-layered man.

Okay, enough teasing for today. Thank you all for the great comments on the blog this past month. Got some fabulous recommends from you! And I was thrilled to see some new commenters on the blog yesterday. Welcome one and all! We're a friendly bunch, with lots of different personalities and interests, who share one wonderful obsession--books! So, thank you for joining us, your kind words and recommendations.
