Quick Update

Just popping in to say a hi. My deadline for LAST CHANCE is Monday, so working feverishly to finish. And I do mean feverishly. My sweetie and I have had some sort of upper respiratory infection and we keep passing it back to the other. Sharing is a good thing, but I'm tired of sharing this stuff. We're hoping the sunshine we haven't seen much of lately will stay around a while and cure us. Our pesky antibiotics sure haven't.

Once again, wanted to thank those who have emailed me about enjoying RESCUE ME and/or RETURN TO ME. That means so very much, especially to a newly published author who battles those demons of doubt on a daily basis. I answer each email I receive, but there have been three or four emails I've not been able to respond to. My emails are kicked back. So, if you've sent me an email and I've not responded, please know I did try. Also, thank you for your kind words and encouragement!

I'm hoping to get an excerpt of RUN TO ME up on my website this next week. There's one on the Random House site, but I believe it's the teaser in the back of RETURN TO ME. I'll put up a different one to give you a little bit more of the flavor of the book. Still completely thrilled with the RT 4 1/2 star review for RUN TO ME!

Don't forget to check under News and Notes on June 23. I'll be celebrating the release of RUN TO ME with contests all day. Prizes will include signed copies of my books and other goodies. Would love to see you there!

Now it's back to LAST CHANCE, Gabe Maddox and Skylar McKenzie's story. I'm really enjoying this book and on December 29, I hope you'll enjoy it too.

Until later, hope you take the opportunity to enjoy the warmth of the summer sun and read a wonderful romance. As you know, it'll put a glow in your heart and a smile on your face!

RT Review of RUN TO ME--A Squee Moment I Had to Share!

Just read the first review of RUN TO ME and couldn't resist sharing. Unfortunately when I copied it, I got all these extra characters I didn't want. So I'm really hoping it works this time!

4 1/2 Stars

Round three in Reece's explosive and gritty trilogy dives into the frightening world of mind control. A common thread running through the Last Chance Rescue series is the characters' torturous pasts. Up-and-comer Reece doesn't flinch from running her protagonists through the literal wringer which, while painful, makes for mesmerizing reading. Romantic suspense has a major new star!--Jill M. Sticking my head out of my writing cave.

I just wanted to pop in and shout out a giant THANK YOU! I've received so many incredibly nice emails from readers who are loving RETURN TO ME. What a joy it is to know that you approve of the happy ever after Noah McCall received with his Samara.

Of course, with Noah being the head of Last Chance Rescue, you'll see him in every book. And honestly, he's just so hard to let go of.

I'm busily revising and editing LAST CHANCE, which is Gabe Maddox and Skylar McKenzie's story. I'm loving these characters and when it's released December 29, I hope you agree.

Remember to check in on June 23 when I'll be celebrating the release of RUN TO ME with another all day blog contest.

Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and that you take some time to remember the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep our country safe. May God bless them!

Also, hope you get to relax, prop your feet up, drink some lemonade and enjoy a little barbeque. Oh, and read a good book!

Till later!

The Day After...

Thanks to everyone who entered my all day contest yesterday. I had a blast!

Also, thanks to those who have sent emails telling me they're loving RETURN TO ME. That's music to my ears!

Now, it's back to work. I'm running a bit behind on my next book, LAST CHANCE. I'll check in from time to time to say hi. Drop me a note at christy@christyreece.com if you get a chance.

And mark your calendars! June 23 is the release date of the third book in the Last Chance Trilogy, RUN TO ME. I'll be celebrating with another all day contest.

Until later, hope you have beautiful, sunny days and take the time to read a good book!

Since it's late, I'm going the easy route again. The first person to comment will win a signed copy of my upcoming release, RUN TO ME. I don't even have copies yet, but should be getting a couple soon. As soon as I get them, one can be yours. All you need to do is post and it's yours. Or, if you prefer, you can win a signed copy of one of the two previous books, RESCUE ME or RETURN TO ME. Your choice!

Remember, no previous winners!

Ready. Set. Post!

And another contest!

Congrats to Oklagrannie who won a $25 gift card to Books-A-Million!

Okay, this is one you may have to research, but it's a cool prize. A $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble and a signed copy of either RESCUE ME or RETURN TO ME...your choice.

Here's the question: In RESCUE ME, what name did Eden use when she was luring/conning Georges?

No previous winners. The first person to answer correctly will win.

Contest Time Again!

Congratulations to Kerry who won the last contest and will receive a signed copy of RESCUE ME.

Okay, here's a question that may take a little research. The prize is a $25 gift card to Books-A-Million.

In RESCUE ME, what is the name of Devon's mother? (Hint: It's in the first paragraph on the very first page of the book).

First person who comments on this blog post wins!

Good luck!
