Hope you had a fabulous week and weekend! Mine was crazy busy! I'm diligently working on bringing Dylan and Jamie home safely and ensuring their SWEET HEA, so I hope you'll forgive this very short blog. Good Monday All and Happy President's Day!

How was your week last week? Did you do anything fabulously exciting? Read anything wonderful you want to recommend to us?

Mine was eventful, fun, frustrating, sad, and exhilarating. Yes, I'm living in Jamie and Dylan's world these days and they took me on quite a ride last week. This week promises to be even more so. All I can do is hang on in white-knuckled terror as they propel me along with them. Whew!

Also, last week I received spectacular news that I can't share yet. Yes, I am a tease in the worst way. However, I made a promise, so until I get the go ahead, I'll just torture you. (:

No new recommends for me this week. However, I noticed a post on Facebook from Teresa Medeiros. She mentioned the reissue of several historical romances from one of my all time favorite writers--Laurie McBain. Anyone read her? I think Moonstruck Madness and Devil's Desire were my favorites. These wonderfully rich, luscious books were some of the very first romances I read and helped make me a fan forever. I just ordered Moonstruck Madness--no e-book reading on this one for me. The cover is too awesome not to have the paperback in hand!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

Did you happen to see the SWEET surprise I posted on Friday? I'm thrilled with the cover for SWEET JUSTICE and hope you are too. I love the colors, the background and oh yeah, the seriously hot guy! I haven't had any sneak peeks at the covers for SWEET REVENGE or SWEET REWARD yet, but if this is the beginning of a trend, I say bring it on! I'll be sure to share with you as soon as I can.

I'm still in the midst of angst and danger with Dylan and Jamie and SWEET REVENGE. Saturday, Dylan did something that he and I both were quite upset about. On Sunday, he totally reversed his decision and showed himself for the hero he is. I cannot wait for you to meet these two characters in their own story. They have alternately frustrated and entertained me for months!

In between writing and reading my Rita books, I managed to read a book that's been on my Kindle for months. Finally finished it last night and must say I thoroughly enjoyed Dangerous Secrets by Lisa Marie Rice. Have you read it? The hero is uber alpha and a little over the top, but in a fun way. If you've not read it, I encourage you to give it a try!

Any big plans for you and your Valentine honey today? I woke up to roses and chocolates, so the day definitely started off on a good note. (Hmm, if I could wake up that way every Monday, I'm sure it would make my week much brighter and put me in a better mood. Might have to mention that to my SWEETheart!) (:

Good Monday Everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful week and weekend. There are so many awesome books out there right now, I can't wait to hear what you're reading and recommending.

Last week, Dylan, Jamie and I had several break-through moments. Some tears were shed, some snarly words were hurled and, oh yeah, more than one or two bone-melting, heart-stopping kisses were exchanged. This week promises to be even more exciting. A major turning point, more tears and harsh words and, what the heck, someone may either get kissed or killed too. There's no telling what's going to happen with these two!

Thanks for all the lovely emails last week. I love hearing how much readers are looking forward to the SWEET books and that the other LCR books are still being purchased and enjoyed. Makes my little 'ol writer's heart just melt! And thank you all so much for the suggestions on my website. The changes will take a few weeks, but I think you'll like them. Stay tuned!

No covers to share yet. I did get a proof delivered the other day of SWEET JUSTICE. It's looking wonderful. In fact, I already have plans to frame it...it's just so pretty. Can't wait until I can share the final product with you.

Copy edits of SWEET JUSTICE will be coming some time soon. As soon as I finish them up, I'll post an excerpt for you.

Will any of you be at the Romantic Times Convention in Los Angles in April? This will be my first time attending and I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be on a panel with fabulous authors Monica McCarty, Tessa Dare, Zoe Archer and a debut historical author from Ballantine, Stefanie Sloan. We'll be talking about writing and marketing the back-to-back trilogy. If you're going to RT, I hope you'll come to the workshop or stop by and say hi at the signing.

Also, I'm headed to New York in June for the RWA convention where I'll be doing the same panel/workshop. If you're attending, hope you'll take a moment and say hey!

Last week was a productive one for me. Jamie and Dylan cooperated quite nicely and SWEET REVENGE is hopping along. Can't wait to see what these two have planned for me this week!

Since back cover blurbs, covers and excerpts will be coming in the next few months, I'm going to make some necessary changes to my website. Of course, the SWEET books need to be front and center. However, when a new reader visits my website, I want to make sure they know about the first six books in the series. I'll be talking with my website designer on Wednesday, so if anyone has suggestions for changes, feel free to let me know. You can post here or email me at christy@christyreece.com. I may not be able to incorporate all ideas, (changes can get pricey) but I would love to hear your suggestions.

In between writing and making website changes, I'm also enjoying some great books. Once again, I'm judging in the Rita contest and have really enjoyed the entries I received. I wish I could tell you what they are, but since no one can know who read the entries, I can't. However, I will say this, 2010 was a great year for some wonderful books! LOL. Yes, I know that's not terribly informative!

Also, since I have the SWEETest readers in the world, I'm doing a giveaway for the month of February. One random commenter will win a $25 gift card to Books-A-Million.
