Hope you had a great week and weekend. Did you read anything wonderful you can't wait to share with the group?
My week was a busy but enjoyable one. I spent the week with Seth Cavanaugh and Honor Stone. We worked together on SWEET JUSTICE, finalizing their HEA. I love these two characters and watching them overcome their difficulties to reach for their happiness has been so much fun. Can't wait for you to meet them!
Revisions are due today, so again, a necessarily short and SWEET post from me. Thanks everyone for your patience. I'll check back in later this week, after some much needed sleep.
Until then, tell us what you read last week that you loved. Looking forward to seeing your recommendations.
Happy Monday!

Hey Christy! I hope you get plenty of sleep this week, I wish you the best of luck with the home stretch of the revisions.
I read the second Wallflower book last week. It Happened One Autumn by Lisa Kleypas. I thought this book was great! I loved Lillian! She had great sass an attitude!
Hope everyone has a great week!
Can't wait to get to know Seth and Honor. Getting so excited about the next 3 books, especially when you post excerpts :)
Last week I read a book that isn't my norm, and I am not sure I will step out again, cause I kinda didn't like it all that much and it was a little over the top for me. THIS is why I stick with Romantic Suspense!!!
I also read The Gift of Joy by Valerie Maarten. It was a feel good holiday story. Pretty short but a cute story.
I didn't get a lot of books read this week cause we traveled AND I was doing some reading for a few authors...so nothing to post for those. I am in the middle of reading the next Virgin River book #6, Paul's story. Loving it so far.
Special thanks to Aly, you and your spreadsheet ROCK!!!! I thank you, my husband curses you (but I am the only one that counts lol)
Have a great week everyone :-)
Hi All
Thanks for the SWEET update Christy.
Finished the Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts:
Savor The Moment and Happy Ever After. Just loved these girls and their guys.
Yours For the Taking by Robin Kaye
Very enjoyable 4th in the Domestic Gods series. She introduced the guys from the next series –yummy.
Reading Believe In Me by Laura Moore, 2nd in the Rosewood Trilogy.
Wonderful writing as always.
Yes, I thanked Aly for my updated shopping list LOL.
Got to read those Kleypas historicals too.
Oh Christy, you sound exausted. (((((((((hugs))))))))) Nice hot tea and rest for you...once you get those pesky HEAs figured out anyway.
I finished a reread of Celeste Bradley's 2nd book in the Liars Club this week.
Then I read Karen Roses' YOU BELONG TO ME which I could. not. put. down. Elke is my hero for sending it to me. I can't say enough about this book. A-May-zing!
And last night I was wandering around looking for *something* to read and picked up a book I'd gotten at Emerald City this year. Holy Hannah. Yeah. I read the whole thing. Last night. I'm still trying to decide if that was a good thing or not. LOL.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Hey Christy! Good luck with the revisions!
I read Fragile and Broken by Shiloh Walker last week...love the Rafferty brothers!
Mary...I agree Yours For the Taking by Robin Kaye is very enjoyable. Can't wait to get to know the men in her new series better!
Have a good week everyone!
Hi Christy, hi all
Christy I hope you get some well earned rest after finishing revisions today - the waiting for Seth and Honors story gets harder every month, but with the help of the great recommendations here I shall survive.LOL.
Last week i read my fist book by Lisa Kleypas "Christmas eve at Friday Harbor". I liked it but it was a bit too short ( I finished it within a few hours) and I read one of Suz Brockmanns TDD series ("Harvards education" ) which was great as most of her books.
No new books on the shelf at the moment - I am doing some rereads .
Ronlyn- Iam exited to hear that you liked "You belong to me" and couldn´t put it down. When I read it I was lost in the story and quite annoyed when i had to stop reading to get some work done. I hope there will be some follow ups and Stevie Manzetti will get her own story.
Have a nice week all.
Hey Christy! Hope you're able to get that much needed sleep in really soon! I am splitting my reading time between my beloved Kindle and my (equally) beloved paperbacks. I just finished Promise Canyon by Robyn Carr. Right now, I am reading Nine Rules to Break when Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean, and getting ready to start the last of Nora Roberts' Bride Quartet books.
Elke, *I* could sure use an overseas hero, if you know anyone who is interested. LOL
Hope everyone has a great week! Looks like the snow and ice have left us, at least for now.
Hi Christy!!! Sounds like you are exhausted and need that much deserved sleep! Take care of yourself!
Am really looking forward to reading Honor and Seth's SWEET story! They both sound like great characters and ones that will touch our hearts . . . and well worth the wait!!
I finished Susan Elizabeth Phillips's new "Call Me Irresisitible." Seeing Teddy all grown up and finding his HEA was delightful and fun with additional appearances by former characters that was icing on the cake!
I also finished Robyn Kaye's "Yours for the Taking" and thought it was the best of the tril. I loved Ben and Gina from the very start. I'm looking forward to the new tril by her. She's a really good contemp romance writer in my opinion.
Of course, Roblyn Carr's "Promise Canyon" was on my list this past week as well. It was another fantastic and comfy visit to Virgin Rivers. Can't wait to get my hands on the next one today!
And last, but certainly not least, Ronlyn has me hooked on Celeste Bradley's historicals. I am in the middle of the "Heiress Series." Just read "Desperately Seeking A Duke" and loved it. Bradley is such a witty writer that creates delightful stories with some very interesting characters. Very light-hearted and yet meaningful.
That's it from this end. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
YAY Anne! I'm go glad you're enjoying Celeste! I'm constantly amazed that no one ever seems to have read her when I mention her name. I've always found her a very enjoyable read.
Hello everyone! Always a day late, but I finally got my internet at home fixed so I can check in on mondays. Yay!!!
This week I read a freebie from the kindle store called The Blood that Bonds by Christopher Buechler. This is his first novel and plans on making this a trilogy, which I can not wait to get my hands on. It was my first Vampire romance and I really enjoyed it. It was a little choppy, but it was still very easy to follow.
As for this week, im still not sure what I want to read. Think im going to go try some more Maya Banks or Bella Andre. After all that Vampire stuff, I think I need a good girly romance.
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!
Hey all, thanks for being faithful to the blog and sharing your recommends. I *heart* you all so much! And looks like some great books were devoured last week. Yay!
Revisions for SWEET JUSTICE flew to NY about 1:00 AM this morning. After some much needed sleep, I spent a good part of the day trying to find my desk. Wow, there was real wood beneath all that stuff!
Now, it's back to Jamie and Dylan and that SWEET REVENGE they're both planning!
Hoping to share an excerpt and more blurbs soon. Stay tuned!
Happy reading all!
Hey Christy, have been so out of touch lately! Hope you manage to get some rest!
I just finished Cindy Gerard's Take No Prisoners and before that read No Place to Hide by Maya Banks - loved it.
Don't know what I will read next.
