Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

Hope you had a good weekend and have some marvelous reads to recommend today. Don't forget, a recommend enters your name into the contest for some fabulous prizes. Drawing is 12/31/12

No recommends from me. Deadline is looming and until Quinn and Samantha find their HEA, I'll be working to help them get there. I'm looking forward to devouring some great books when I'm finished.

Just a few announcements.

First, a big YAY! The eBook for MIDNIGHT SECRETS can now be pre-ordered!

MIDNIGHT SECRETS eBook at Amazon
MIDNIGHT SECRETS eBook at Barnes and Noble

Also, I was so pleased last week to get proofs of the MIDNIGHT SECRETS cover. Wow, oh wow, wow, wow. Absolutely gorgeous! Read on for a chance to win one.

Once MIDNIGHT LIES is zooming to my editor, hopefully by November 30, I'll be finishing up Jake and Angela's novella, CHANCES ARE. I'm halfway done and can't wait to get back to these two wonderful characters. And soon, I'll share with you that super sexy cover I mentioned.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all who have served our country, both past and present. Though Veterans Day is but one day a year, I am grateful each and every day for your service, courage and sacrifice.

Since all the heroes in the Wildefire series are former or current military, let's do this. In addition to your recommends, name your favorite military romance. I'll randomly choose a commenter's name and announce it on Friday. Winner gets a signed cover proof of MIDNIGHT SECRETS! Be sure to leave an email address so I can contact you.

It's rainy and cool here in Birmingham so I'm headed back to Midnight where the sun is shining, birds are singing, steam is rising and a murderer is lurking!

Happy Monday!

I've had the pleasure of getting to know V.R. Marks who is a man writing romantic suspense and got to read an ARC of his latest The Witness (its now available on Amazon) loved it. Read two of Sherri Hayes contempories - Hidden Threat and the short Christmas followup A Christmas Proposal.

Now favorite military book - If we are going off of first read it was the first series from Suzanne Brockmann Tall, Dark & Dangerous. But since I have many favorites.

I am currently reading and recommend The Soldier's Wife by Joanna Trollope. It's about a family's way of coping with the return of the husband and father, an Army soldier who had been deployed to Afghanistan, and the struggles they face with readjustment. I am loving it so far, even if at times it is a bit heartbreaking.

I have a couple of recommends. I finished a about 4 books this week. My first recommend is going to by Lynsay Sands & Jeaniene Frost A Bite Before Christmas. I loved it. One story was an Argeneau family member and the other was a Cat & Bones story. They were of course Christmas themed. I love Cat & Bones and love the Argeneau family.
I also read Lady is a
Vamp. This is also another Argeneau story about Jeanne Louise. I loved this one also. Love the Argeneau family. I just have to say I can't wait for Bricker & Anders HEA's.
I also re-read Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer. This is Edwards version of Twilight. But only just the beginning. I wanted to start to read because the new movie is coming out and am going to the all day marathon and then seeing the new movie at the end.
Love everyones recommendations. I come every monday just to see the recommends. Keep them up.

Hi Christy, hi Everyone!
I must check if Midnight Secrets can already be ordered via Amazon Germany as well - I sincerely hope so.

I have some recommends and one teaser for next year.

I started "Chilled" by Kendra Elliot just last Monday and thought it would be good - and oh boy it really was. I highly recommend it.

I also read and enjoyed "Rescue My Heart" by Jill Shalvis and the third book in Noras Roberts " The Inn Boonsboro" series "The Perfect Hope".

And to all fans of Karen Rose: Look forward to her new book "Did You Miss Me" featuring Daphne Montgomery and Joseph Carter .She just keeps getting better and better. And it was great to meet again with some of the characters from previous books.
It really is a shame that "Did you miss me" isn´t released at the same time in Europe and the US.

Thats it from me. Have a great week Everyone and good luck with your deadline, Christy!

It is rainy and cool here, too. At least that's ideal for reading.

I recommend the Shattered by JoAnn Ross. It has a great military hero :)

I'm soo late! Had work meetings. :(

Can I just say, I HATE the snow. we got over 12 inches! So cold too. Only got to about 34 degress last few days.

So recommends for me:
Leave me Breathless by Cherrie Lynn
My Kind of Christmas by Robin Carr
The Marriage Bargain By Jennifer Probst

All were really good, but Leave me breathless was my fav.

So favorite military romance? I am going to have to do series, because I can't decide. JoAnn Ross's series, Cindy Gerard and so many others I can't name them all!

Happy Reading!!

Long day at work so a little late posting. Two books that I read last week and would recommend are Terry Goodkind The First Confessor (this is Sci/Fi) and Pamela Clare Skin Deep her latest I team book.

I'm chiming in way late, but wanted to stop by.
I'm still devouring Donna Grant's Dark Warrior series. I love these. I was hoping to have the new Karen Rose (my assistant was in England, coming home on release day, so she checked the airport for me), but no such luck.
I've got KMM's ICED waiting for me too. Once I get to where I can devote myself to reading it I'll dive in.
Today is the release day of Marie Force's FATAL DECEPTION, which is another winner.
For military romances...no one can beat Brockman. OVER THE EDGE with Teri and Stan is probably my all time favorite of hers.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Veterans Day!

Recommends, let's see there was the "Marriage Mistake" 3rd book in a triology by Jennifer Probst. THEN

Leave Me Breathless by Cherrie Lynn! Rescue My Heart by Jill Shalvis had me LMBO.

And Charles Sheehan-Miles is trying to get the next book out after "Just Remember To Breathe" in mid Dec. I CANNOT wait. He did such a Bangup job writing that book. Loved it.

You've got a lot going on, Christy! I'm going to have to go preorder Midnight Secrets ASAP! Congrats on that!
This week is the release of Marie Force's Fatal Deception. You can't go wrong with Sam and Nick! I have several books started but haven't had a lot of time to read this week. Hopefully soon. VERY soon.
Favorite military romance? Fabulous, but impossible question. LOL! Brockman's Over the Edge or Into the Fire? Cindy Gerard's Take No Prisoners? I bet this group could talk for days about favorite military romances. I'm going to read back through the comments and make sure I haven't missed any. :-)
Hope everyone has a great week!
