Recommend Monday and Winners!

Good Monday All

Hope you had a good weekend. I was still in holiday mode. Were you? With a holiday in the middle of the week, it's hard to finish it off like a regular week. For me, the new year officially begins today. So, HAPPY NEW YEAR! (:

I'm looking forward to hearing about your great reads from last week. One of my goals is to read more this year. Hearing your recommends each week will definitely help me reach that goal.

Writing has been a bit sporadic the last few months but I am planning a major writing binge over the next couple of weeks. CHANCES ARE is coming along a little slower than I'd planned but we're getting there. Promise!

Congrats to Alison and Tara for winning signed copies of the UK release of RESCUE ME. And stay tuned for another chance to win. RETURN TO ME, which releases in the UK on February 14, has a sexy new cover, too. Will show it to you soon. And RUN TO ME... *swoon*

As you know, Recommend Monday has been running a contest since October. I went through all the recommends last night and wow, there were hundreds of them. Thank you all for participating and helping us find out about those wonderful books.

And now, drum roll please. The Recommend Monday contest winners are:

Kindle Fire HD: KC
Signed copy of the entire LCR series: CrystalGB
$25 Barnes and Noble gift card: Jennifer V

Congrats, ladies! Please email me at christy@christyreece.com so we can chat about delivery of your prize!

Okay, that's it for me. I'm headed to London and Paris to spend a little time with Jake and Angela. Hope you have an absolutely fabulous week. Now, tell us what we should be reading!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! And congratulations to the lucky winners of the Recommended Monday contest winners.

I started off the new year with two great reads. A BEAUTIFUL LIE by T.E. Sevic, who is a new-to-me author, was fantastic. Think great romantic suspense where the CIA, FBI and Navy SEALs are involved in a secretive "generational" military mission. And there's great romance as well!

The second recommended book from me is UP TO ME by M. Leighton. This is the second book in her "The Bad Boys" series. The first book DOWN TO ME was equally as good. The sequel had more action and left me eager for Book 3. If you haven't checked this new series out, it's well worth doing so.

That's it from cool and sunny OK this Monday morning. Hope everyone has a great week filled with some wonderful reads.

Happy New Year....seems so long ago already to me!

Congrats to all the contest winners and to Christy for offering up some awesome prizes.

Congrats to Christy for the UK release...I can't wait to see your books in stores next time I'm in London. :)

I started off the new year with Maya Banks Shades of Gray. I highly recommend this book (with the caveat that it is very violent and emotional so be forewarned!).

I'm in the middle of Lauren Dane's Brown Siblings series. I apparently had read the first one in PB and never continued with the series even though I kept collecting the PB's. Then I bought the Kindle version of the same one I had already read (and her books are pricey!). *sigh* I really do need to keep better track, however, I am enjoying the stories.

Hi Christy, hi Everyone!
its good to be back to normal after the holidays. Congratulations to the lucky winners of Christies contest.

I have three recommends this week:
Shades of Grey by Maya Banks - wow it is an emotioal rollercoaster, more than the previous books in the KGI series.

Shadow Woman by Linda Howard. I was not sure what to expect because her last few books didn´t work for me, but this one was really good with a very interesting plot.

And finally the new book in Carly Phillips`Serendipity series: "The Perfect Fit" - I really like this series.

Have a nice week Everyone and good luck with your writing cave Christy!

Congrats to the contest winners! What a great way to kick off 2013!

The holiday is definitely over, everyone is back in the office and expecting me to work and not just look like I'm working! LOL!

This weekend I read two books Jackie recommended...Fallen Too Far, by Abbi Glines, and The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden. I loved them, but they both had cliffhangers so I am dying to find out what happens next.

Happy New Year everyone!!

Congratulations ladies!!

I'm slow to the party today. We rescued a puppy on our way back to Ohio from Missouri and I've had the poor thing at the vet all day.
I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I know I sure did. I am a very very blessed mother and wife.

Christy I am so excited to hear that you've been spending time in Paris!! I can't wait to get some LCR love in my hands. I'm hoping you are able to get some good reading in this year too!!

My recommendations are:
(I may have recommended this last week) but, MacKenzie Family Christmas was wonderful. I also read The Seduction of Elliot McBride. WOW it was great!! I highly recommend it.

I also read Monica McCarty's The Recruit. It was a good read too. I am now reading Shades of Gray by Maya Banks so far I am really enjoying it. I will give a full report next week. Happy New Year everyone!!
