Good Monday Everyone!
Hope you had a good week and found some fabulous reads to tell us about. It's rainy and cloudy here in Bama...seems like forever since we've seen the sun. However, days like this are great for writing and reading. Curling up with a cup of hot tea and a good book is the perfect prescription for a rainy day, don't you think?
I've been concentrating hard on CHANCES ARE, hoping to get it finished soon so I can get it out to you. Because of that, I'm behind on emails and mailings. Hope to get those taken care of this week, so if I owe you a response or a package, be patient, they're coming!
Lots of exciting things are coming up over the next few months. With nine LCR books being released in the UK, one each month, there are going to be lots of opportunities to win a signed LCR book with it's hot new cover. Another thing I love about these books is that they're trade paperback size, which definitely enhances those sexy covers. If you're in the UK, all the books are up for order or pre-order on both paperback and eBook.
If you're on Goodreads and in the U.S., I have exciting news. My publisher is giving away 100 AREs of MIDNIGHT SECRETS, Ella Grace's first book in the Wildefire series. Here's the link to enter: MIDNIGHT SECRETS Goodreads giveaway
Last week I received paperback ARCs of MIDNIGHT SECRETS. Be sure to come over to the Ella Grace blog tomorrow for a chance to win a signed ARC. I'm still sighing over the beautiful and yummy cover!
I'm trying to keep my promise of reading more this year and so I have a recommend. I recently read Jill Sorenson's Aftershock and really enjoyed it. Very edge of the seat reading! I think this is the first book in a new series and I'm excited to read the other two when they're released.
Okay, I'm headed back to London to see what Jake and Angela have gotten themselves into. So glad it's winter there because they're definitely heating things up!
Have a great week everyone. Can't wait to hear about your recommended reads. And don't forget to come see me tomorrow on my Ella Grace blog for a MIDNIGHT SECRETS giveaway!

I had a busy weekend at a dance convention and didn't get much reading done. So no recommends from me. But, I did just purchase the Jill Sorenson based on your recommendation...it looks really good.
Thanks for sharing the latest on both LCR and Ella Grace! Looking forward to the books to be out soonest!!! :)
Hi Chtisty,
I just finished "Aftershock" too and really liked it. The next book in the series "Freefall" will be out in June.
I just started "SeaGlass Winter" by JoAnn Ross. So far, it's good. I love the whole Shelter Bay series.
Have a good week everyone and happy reading!
Hi everyone!
I had a very relaxing weekend, stayed in and watched lots of football.
I read The Seduction of Elliot McBride by Jennifer Ashley and a novella by Bella Andre One Perfect Night and really enjoyed them both.
Happy reading everyone!
Hi Christy and Everyone!
Looking forward to Midnight Secrets Christy - that you already got ARCs from your publisher surely means the waiting for your first book of the Wildfire series will soon be over. YAY!!!
Last week I started a series by a new to me author - Norah Wilson.: "Guarding Susannah", "Saving Grace" and"Protecting Paige".
I am currently reading the last installment in this series " Protecting Paige" and I definitely recommend all three books ( Saving Grace beeing my fav. so far).
I also read Robin Kayes first book in the Bad Boys of Red Hook Series "Back to you" and already preordered the next one" You´re the one".
Happy reading Everyone and see you tomorrow on Ellas Blog Christy!
Lots of football with a big dose of disappointment when Denver lost. Sunday night brought the Golden Globes until time for Downton Abbey (which I refuse to miss!).
Last week's reading was less than thrilling so no recommendations from me. At Christy's recommendation, I am going to read "Aftershock" by Jill Sorenson.
See ya'll on Ella's blog on Tuesday! Happy Reading!
Hi everyone *waving frantically*
Sorry I have been MIA for a while, things have been darn right crazy at my house. Gonna have a mom moment right now, so if you don't want to read it, skip ahead. My son (Jordan) competed in the karate world games over the Christmas break. This is a week long tournament. He brought home two world titles. YES, TWO world titles. ::sigh:: I love him.
Ok, I have had some serious bad luck with books lately. The only one that I will recommend is Maya Banks newest KGI book Shades of Gray. Soooo, good. My favorite of the series so far.
I have been comforting myself in comfort reads from Kristen Ashley right now. I downloaded Aftershock after I saw you recommend it, so maybe I will start that one next.
Happy New Year everyone, and have a great week.
Christy,
I'm so excited about the UK books - love the first cover!
I read the new Kate Brady book, Where Angels Rest, and loved it! I also read two YA books, Colleen Hoover's Slammed and John Green's The Fault in Our Stars. SO good! But, have your tissues ready, especially for Fault,
Hi all! I meant to stop by yesterday, but my day went sideways.
So many rec'd authors I haven't read yet...not sure if that's good or bad for me. :-)
Elke, I love Norah Wilson! So great.
I did a couple comfort reads by Linda Howard last week.
More later!

Anne and Tonya have me reading T.E. Sivec's "A Beautiful Lie". Romantic suspense just starting in this genre. She also writes as Tara Sivec and has 3 books out one "Seduction and Snacks" that are hiliarious!
Jackie P.
Hey All! Thanks for the recommends. I picked up a couple, hope you did too.
Special note to Hope. How awesome about Jordan! I know you are one proud mama and you have every right to be. Congrats to the entire family!
