Good Monday Everyone!

Hope you had a good week and weekend! Can't wait to hear what great books you're recommending today.

I'm in New York, arrived on Saturday afternoon. Flight was great and even arrived early! My only problem was I had to get up at 3:00 AM for a 6:30 take-off time, so I was a bit glaze-eyed by the time I made it to the hotel. The hotel is massive! And it's on Times Square where it seems things are happening 24/7. I've walked through it twice since I've been here and each time I marvel at all the craziness, zaniness and sometimes just plain weirdness. Such an interesting place and great fodder for future books!

SWEET REWARD is in the hands of my agent. Yayayayayay! My editor is on vacation and I'll send it to her when she returns. Though Jared and Mia took me on quite a ride, they came through at the end and oh my gosh, I love this book! Hope you will too!

So, my covers are up and aren't they fabulous? I couldn't be more thrilled. And the colors are wonderful too. I'm just so excited about them and can't wait to get some book marks made. I didn't get a chance to have any made for RWA but when I get back home, that'll be first on my agenda.

Next up is an excerpt of SWEET REVENGE. You guys have been so patient and I'm really hoping to have one up for you next week. I may post it early on Facebook, since I can do that myself. If I do, I'll let you know so you can come over and read it. Here's a hint on how the book starts: Remember in LAST CHANCE, we saw Jamie's rescue from the outside, with Lucas and McKenna? This time, we'll see it from Dylan's perspective as he goes in to rescue the future love of his life. You'll learn a lot about both of them in these short pages. Have I told you lately that I love this book? (:

Okay, that's it for me today. I'm in the midst of trying to finish up page proofs for SWEET REVENGE, which are due on Wednesday. And I'm meeting my agent for lunch and then will head over to the Random House offices. So love being about to finally meet people that I only get to talk to on the phone or through emails.

Hope you had a spectacular week and weekend and that you read some fabulous books! Can't wait to hear about them. I'm getting my stack all ready to dive into as soon as my deadlines have been met.

Last week brought some interesting things, didn't it? What do you think about the cover for SWEET REWARD? Is he dreamy or what? I must say that taking a peek at the cover every few hours has helped me write Jared's story. And doubled the enjoyment too. (:

Also, I learned that the release date for SWEET JUSTICE had to be put back a week to September 6. It's only seven days, so it's not a huge delay and I will have a giveaway on August 30 just to SWEETen your day.

Oh, and I got a peek at the new cover for SWEET REVENGE. Oh. My. Stars. A shirtless Dylan Savage! Get ready for some more sighing! And the colors are amazing, as well as the background. I think you're going to love it too!

I'm still pounding away on SWEET REWARD. Just a few days to go before I have to send it in and I'm so grateful to Jared and Mia for finally revealing themselves to me. What can I tell you about their story? Just that Jared made me cry on the first page and Mia made me laugh throughout the book. I love these two together. Hope you will too.

Also, the page proofs for SWEET REVENGE are due in NY next week, so during the day time, I'm working with Mia and Jared and at night, I'm polishing up Dylan and Jamie's book. Gotta tell you, I've been having some SWEET dreams lately. (:

I'm debating with myself about whether or not to cancel the NO CHANCE discussion tomorrow. Since I'm running out of time, I'm concerned I won't be able to devote very much attention to the responses and I love talking to you guys about the LCR characters. What do you think? Should I delay it for couple of weeks or do you want me to post the blog so we can stay on schedule? If we delay it, I'm thinking about July 12 for it and July 26 for SECOND CHANCE. That'll get us back on schedule. What do you think?

I'm leaving for NYC on Saturday and planning a little fun and R&R before the wonderful craziness of the RWA convention begins. Again, if you're going to be at the convention, be sure to say hey. I'll be wearing a name tag!

Okay, that's it for me. I'm headed back to Paris where Mia and Jared are in the midst of danger and they don't know it. I may have to scream at them today. Depending upon what you all tell me, I'll post a note later today and let you know if we're postponing the NO CHANCE discussion or if it's still on.

SWEET JUSTICE Release Date Change

Hey All!

Just popping in for a moment to give you a quick update. The release date for SWEET JUSTICE has changed to September 6, a week later than the original August 30 date. Some internal things inside my publishing house made this a necessity. And it's only one week's difference!

To make this news a little SWEETer for you, I'll plan a giveaway on August 30 anyway. How about that!

Okay, I'm headed back to the land of Mia and Jared. I left them in an extremely precarious situation. Wish us luck!
