Good Monday All!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Can't wait to see what you're recommending today.

I spent most of last week doing busy work. This week is all about the writing. I'm way behind schedule and since this summer promises to be a super busy one, I need to get back on track.

Wanted to share a couple of things with you. If you're on Goodreads, I'm giving away 5 signed paperback copies of CHANCES ARE. Here's the link to enter: CHANCES ARE Giveaway

Also, the fabulous Lisa at A Tasty Read is giving away 2 digital copies of CHANCES ARE! Here's the link to her blog.  A Tasty Read Giveaway

Even though I was a busy bee last week, I did get a chance to read Karen Rose's No One Left to Tell. Great characters and mystery, with lots of twists and turns. Oh, and lots of steam, too!

Okay, I'm headed into my writing world. Don't forget to tell us what we should be reading. And to give you a Monday lift, take a look at the UK cover for LAST CHANCE that comes out July 4!

Lucas is looking might fine, isn't he?

Have a great week all!

Good Monday All!

I hope you had a great weekend and a most excellent Mother's Day! My mom, sister, and brother-in-law came for dinner and we had a grand time. And for the first time in almost twenty-six year, I used my wedding china! It seems ridiculous that I've never used it before. I guess I was waiting on something extra special and then I decided what's more special than honoring my beautiful mom? I'd forgotten how much I love my china pattern. My mom seemed to appreciate the gesture and that was my intent. Even my cooking tasted better on such pretty plates. :)

Switching hats to Ell Grace for a moment. Lisa over at A Tasty Read is featuring one of her favorite scenes from MIDNIGHT SECRETS and I'm giving away two signed copies. Come on by for a chance to win! A Tasty Treat's MIDNIGHT SECRETS

MIDNIGHT LIES copyedits have arrived, are due back tomorrow, and I'm running frightfully behind. So let's make this a quick one: What did you read last week that you loved? To add incentive, comment and you'll be entered to win a digital copy of CHANCES ARE. I'll announce the winner on Friday. (And if you already have CHANCES ARE, I'll gift it to someone for you.)

Okay, I'm headed back to Midnight. Have I mentioned lately that I love Quinn Braddock with all of my heart? :)

Have a great week everyone!

Happy Reading!

Good Monday All!

Winter has arrived in Alabama. Yes, you read this correctly. It is cold here and probably feels even colder since it should be in the mid 80's! Yikes, we're upside down!

Thank you again for your warm welcome to Angela and Jake in CHANCES ARE. I'm thrilled so many of you have enjoyed their story. I don't usually do this but if you did enjoy the book, would you leave a review at Amazon or your favorite review site? It is very much appreciated! And as you may have noticed, the paperback of CHANCES ARE is now available for order. Here's the link: CHANCES ARE Paperback

I've heard from some that were disappointed in the length of the story. Remember this was supposed to be a novella, so if you look at it that way, it's probably too long! :) Future LCR books will be longer. While writing the 'novella' I discovered that writing short is not one of my strengths. However, I do have this new idea for an LCR novella... Sigh, my crazy, erratic mind is at work again to torture me!

Putting on my Ella Grace persona for a moment, I want to thank you for the notes of congratulations and kind words for MIDNIGHT SECRETS last week. I sincerely appreciate the emails and messages about the new Wildefire series and I'm happy so many people are looking forward to Samantha's and Quinn's story in September.

Here's the trailer my publisher made for MIDNIGHT SECRETS. I love it! MIDNIGHT SECRETS trailer

Oh, I have a recommend! Last week, my publisher asked if I could write a blog about a favorite time travel romance. I've not read a tremendous amount of TT romances but I have read a few. One that has always stuck with me is Son of the Morning by Linda Howard; I reread it over the weekend. I loved the story of Black Niall of Scotland and Grace St. John. The book is filled with history, steamy romance, and wonderful characters. It's a must read for any Howard fan.

If you're a subscriber to my newsletter, you know that my release announcement for CHANCES ARE included a contest question asking for favorite LCR couple. The prize is a $50 Amazon gift card and today is the day to announce the winner.

I used Random.org to select the winner and that person is: Katrina Fiedls! Congrats, Katrina! I'll email you soon with details of how to claim your prize.

We had an outstanding number of entries and it was so much fun to learn everyone's favorite couple. Amazingly there was a tie. Noah and Samara, from RETURN TO ME and Lucas and McKenna from LAST CHANCE, received the same amount of votes! SECOND CHANCE's Cole and Keely came in second place, followed closely by RESCUE ME's Eden and Jordan for third, and Skylar and Gabe from NO CHANCE came in fourth place. Did your favorite LCR couple win or place?

Okay, that's it for me. I've got packages to put together and mail, hundreds of emails to catch up on and oh yeah, write more on a new LCR book!

I'm over at author Carmen Cook's blog on Friday answering some interesting, unusual, and fun questions. Hope you can stop by and chat. I'll let you know the link as soon as I have it.

Have a great week everyone. Now, tell us what we should be reading!

Good Monday All!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend filled with wonderful reads. Can't wait to see what you're recommending today.

Last week was a whirlwind of activity and if you don't know by now, then it's because I couldn't find you to let you know that CHANCES ARE is out! Yippee! Woohoo!

I uploaded it on Tuesday, thinking I would have at least a day to prepare an announcement. By that afternoon, it was already up for sale on several sites. So I was scrambling around trying to get the word out. Hopefully you've heard about it already but just in case you haven't, here are the buy sites:

Amazon
Barnes and Noble
iBooks
Kobo

Right now it's only in eBook but I'm putting the finishing touches on the paperback and you should be able to order it soon. I'll announce it here as soon as it's available for purchase.

Thank you all for giving Jake and Angela's story such a wonderful reception. I hope you enjoy the book. If you do, would love it if you would leave a review on your favorite review site.

This week is all about Ella. MIDNIGHT SECRETS, the first book in the Wildefire series releases tomorrow. I can't wait for you to read Savannah and Zach's story and meet the people of Midnight, Alabama. Be sure to come to the release day party tomorrow. Lots of fun and prizes to be had! We'll start around 10:00 CST and close down shop around 4:00. Here's the link: Ella Grace

Also I'm over at USA Today's Happy Ever After site talking to the wonderful Joyce Lamb about the Wilefire series, why I'm writing under a different name for this series, and my favorite Southern foods. Hope you'll come by and check it out here USA Today Interviews Ella Grace/Christy Reece

I'll be at Riverina Romance on Wednesday and Just Romantic Suspense on Saturday and Sunday. There will be giveaways at both sites so be sure to stop by and say hey. I'll stop back by and let you know the links as soon as I get them.

I've not had a chance to read much lately but did want to tell you that I've started a new Last Chance Rescue book. Working title is RUNNING ON EMPTY. I don't necessarily know if this will be the first one in the trilogy but so far, I'm loving it. And I adore my new hero, Declan Steele. Can't wait for you to meet him, Scottish accent and all. I'm teaming him up with Sabrina Fox, who has more secrets than I ever anticipated. These two have a fascinating history!

Okay, that's it for me. I'm headed to the post office to mail out books and prizes. And since I'm headed there anyway, how about a giveaway here? Be the first person to say: I WANT MIDNIGHT SECRETS and you'll win a signed copy!

Hope everyone has a spectacular week. Now, tell us what we should be reading!
