Recommend Monday

Good Monday Everyone!

Hope you had a fantabulous weekend filled with wonderful reads. Can't wait to hear about them!

Last week was crazy busy and this week is shaping up to be even crazier. Good times, though!

Thank you for the incredible response to my LCR Street Team! I was so humbled by all the responses and am thrilled to have so many of you on the team. Can't wait to get started with all the fun stuff!

As I mentioned last week, I'm going to be at several blogs over the next couple of weeks. Today, I'm at Under the Covers Book blog. I'm chatting about MIDNIGHT SECRETS, but there's some CHANCES ARE love, too. Hope you'll come over and comment for a chance to win a signed copy of MIDNIGHT SECRETS. Here's the link: Under the Covers

I'll also be over at Book Monster Reviews and Literal Addiction this week. As soon as I have the day and link, I'll pop back on and let you know.-->

I'm also over at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews on Wednesday. Will post the link when I have it.

With the release of MIDNIGHT SECRETS on April 30, I've got lots and lots of busy work happening on the next few weeks. I hope you'll join me on Tuesday, 4/30, for the release day party on my Ella Grace site. Lots of giveaways and fun for all!

And after the frenzy of release day passes, I'll want to be curling up with a good book. So tell us, what we should be reading!

Have a great week everyone. And don't forget to come see me at Under the Covers!

Ha! I can't access Under the covers from work because it's listed as "adult entertainment". I'll have to remember to swing by when I get home from work.

I was in Texas last week and got some extra reading time in. Yay!! I can highly recommend Shannon Butcher's Falling Blind, Book 7 of the Sentinels Wars series, and Kristin Ashley's Own the Wind. Love KA...so much I'm actually doing a re-read of the book now!

I had a much needed mom's night out Saturday and also went to Jane Porter's reader appreciation dinner Sunday. That was fabulous and since most of the gals there were chick lit fans, I took the opportunity to talk up one of my fave romance authors...Christy Reece! Hopefully, some of them will check you out and learn what we already know. :)

Currently I am reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, and I am about 3/4 done with the first book. I am really enjoying it so far, and it is different than many books I have ready lately. This is a book about a woman who ends up back in time, and eventually has to decide if she wants to go back to her old life, or stay in her new one. There are 7 books in the series, so I am just getting started!

I did get some reading in the past week, I had kind of a short week with the kidlets so it left extra time that I was supposed to be cleaning and grocery shopping and packing for a trip, so I did all that stuff really quick and read the rest of the time lol.

Own The Wind - Kristen Ashley (LOVED IT)
A Town Called Valentine - Emma Cane
Thrill - Julie Ann Walker
Animal Magnetism - Jill Shalvis

I am undecided on what to start next, but I am having really good luck lately. Have a great week everyone.

A few recommends for me:

Rock Chick, Rock Chick Rescue and Rock Chick Redemption by Kristen Askley. I don't know why i waited to long to read this series. They are really good. I would have started the 4th book but am having trouble with B&N. The book wouldn't download spent forever on the phone and still no book. Lets just say me and B&N are not on speaking terms right now, and I think I made the girl I talked to at "Customer Service" cry. Well what can you do!?

Happy Reading!!

Hi Christy, hi Everyone!
You sure sound busy Christy!

Last week was difficult for me because I had a breaking and entering while I was alone and sleeping. The next morning I discovered the back door was forced open and my purse and my wallet were taken. Just thinking about what could have happened had I woken up and disturbed that guy creep me out. Now I am checking the locks all the time and thinking about getting a new dog much sooner than we planed.
So I really couldn´t concentrate on reading very much, but I did start a book by a new to me author yesterday : Evil without a face by Jordan Dane. I am only halfway through but I am really liking it so far and think its recommend worthy.

Hi Hope, missed you here on R.M., but I guess you were busy.

Happy reading Everyone and good luck with all those bloggs you have planned Christy

Elke,
Good choice with Jordan Dane. If you like the one you're reading, No One Left to Tell and No One Heard Her Scream are also good.
