Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

Winter has arrived in Alabama. Yes, you read this correctly. It is cold here and probably feels even colder since it should be in the mid 80's! Yikes, we're upside down!

Thank you again for your warm welcome to Angela and Jake in CHANCES ARE. I'm thrilled so many of you have enjoyed their story. I don't usually do this but if you did enjoy the book, would you leave a review at Amazon or your favorite review site? It is very much appreciated! And as you may have noticed, the paperback of CHANCES ARE is now available for order. Here's the link: CHANCES ARE Paperback

I've heard from some that were disappointed in the length of the story. Remember this was supposed to be a novella, so if you look at it that way, it's probably too long! :) Future LCR books will be longer. While writing the 'novella' I discovered that writing short is not one of my strengths. However, I do have this new idea for an LCR novella... Sigh, my crazy, erratic mind is at work again to torture me!

Putting on my Ella Grace persona for a moment, I want to thank you for the notes of congratulations and kind words for MIDNIGHT SECRETS last week. I sincerely appreciate the emails and messages about the new Wildefire series and I'm happy so many people are looking forward to Samantha's and Quinn's story in September.

Here's the trailer my publisher made for MIDNIGHT SECRETS. I love it! MIDNIGHT SECRETS trailer

Oh, I have a recommend! Last week, my publisher asked if I could write a blog about a favorite time travel romance. I've not read a tremendous amount of TT romances but I have read a few. One that has always stuck with me is Son of the Morning by Linda Howard; I reread it over the weekend. I loved the story of Black Niall of Scotland and Grace St. John. The book is filled with history, steamy romance, and wonderful characters. It's a must read for any Howard fan.

If you're a subscriber to my newsletter, you know that my release announcement for CHANCES ARE included a contest question asking for favorite LCR couple. The prize is a $50 Amazon gift card and today is the day to announce the winner.

I used Random.org to select the winner and that person is: Katrina Fiedls! Congrats, Katrina! I'll email you soon with details of how to claim your prize.

We had an outstanding number of entries and it was so much fun to learn everyone's favorite couple. Amazingly there was a tie. Noah and Samara, from RETURN TO ME and Lucas and McKenna from LAST CHANCE, received the same amount of votes! SECOND CHANCE's Cole and Keely came in second place, followed closely by RESCUE ME's Eden and Jordan for third, and Skylar and Gabe from NO CHANCE came in fourth place. Did your favorite LCR couple win or place?

Okay, that's it for me. I've got packages to put together and mail, hundreds of emails to catch up on and oh yeah, write more on a new LCR book!

I'm over at author Carmen Cook's blog on Friday answering some interesting, unusual, and fun questions. Hope you can stop by and chat. I'll let you know the link as soon as I have it.

Have a great week everyone. Now, tell us what we should be reading!

Hi everyone, Happy Monday. I am traveling again this week so I am very much looking for everyone's recommends to add to my ever growing TBR list.

I have only one recommend this week. I read Chances Are, and WOW. I am surprised some people are miffed at the length, one of my thoughts were, I LOVE THIS. I don't normally like a novella, there isn't usually really good character development and when the story ends you don't feel like you got the whole story. That is not the case with Chances Are, I loved it from beginning to end. I was starting to get a little nervous at the end when Mara and Noah were having their party, but I knew you would take care of us and I can't wait to see what happens next in the land of LCR.

I hope you all have an amazing week with lots of good reads.

Geez, my fave couple didn't even get an honorable mention??? It's okay, I really love ALL the couples anyway. :)

I read a couple of recent releases last week that didn't do much for me. But, I picked up Kendall Gray's Strings and it was awesome. A different kind of writing and story, but lots of humor and inappropriateness...which y'all know is right up my alley. I can't think of anything else recommend-worthy.

Have a great week!

Morning Christy! I took today off work, I'm I'm actually here in the morning hours (West Coast time) and on the right day! LOL

The link for this Friday is www.carmencooknovels.blogspot.com I hope everyone stops by. It's going to be fun. :)

I haven't read a ton the last couple of weeks. Some research books. I did pick up Kendra Elliots BURIED which is very dark and disturbing and awesome if you like that type of story.

Hope to see you all Friday.

We are finally getting spring weather (70's) here in Utah. Finally!
I finished the Rock Chick series and loved them all. Book 8 (Ally's story) should be out later this year.
Also read Release Me by J. Kenner, this book is a mix of Fifty Shades and Day's Crossfire series. It was ok but I liked the Crossfire books better.
Well thats it for me.

Happy reading!!

Hi all...I have not posted in a long time..been busy with the MS and drama in my personal life..I so should write a book. LOL.

The books I think everyone would enjoy are Debra Webb's series she has out her newest one Rage came out last Tuesday and I had it finished in 2 days it was so good I could not put it down. So far I think four are released with 2 more coming yet this summer and on her homepage I read she has plans for 6 more (thank goodness I am so not ready to say good bye to that series yet). So if you want a good series look into Webb's Faces of Evil.
