Good Monday All!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Did you read something great? Can't wait to hear about it.
Today's post is a short one. I'm packing for RWA Nationals...leaving tomorrow morning. Don't forget if you're going to be there to stop by my table at the literacy signing Wednesday night and say hey. I'll have chocolate and books! Here are the details: Literacy Signing
I always get so energized and excited about the conference. A thousand or more people who love the written word all together in one place. Such fun!
Last week I mentioned that I was reading Kill Shot by Liliana Hart and was loving it. Well I finished it over the weekend and let me just say it was one of the best romantic suspense books I've read in a while. I love this author's writing style and her characters are wonderful. I highly recommend this book to all romantic suspense lovers.
Okay, that's it for me. Clothes to pack, nails to paint, and words to write. Still working on and thoroughly enjoying NOTHING TO LOSE. Can't wait till I can share some snippets with you.
Have a wonderful week everyone. Now, tell us what we should be reading!

Hi Christy! Hi everyone!
Christy, travel safely and have a wonderful time at RWA, I can't wait to hear all about it. And thanks for the recommend, I have added it to my TBR list.
I read Exposed the 7th book in the Tracers series by Laura Griffin last week and loved it.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Enjoy your trip, Christy. I already read Exposed by Laura Griffin & it was very gook. I just finished FOrged in Steel by Maya Banks, her latest in the KGI series. It was wonderful as they all are. I am now taking a short break to reread Return to Me, Noah's story. I still love Noah. I just started, so the best parts are yet to come.
Christy- Hope you enjoy your trip.
It was a slow reading week for me. So just one rec from me today.
Not planning on you by Sydney Landon
Happy Reading!!
Morning Christy (and everyone!)
Elke got after me for not stopping by more often, so I marked it on my calender to make SURE I got here today. :-) I'm going to have to check out your rec-I'm always up for a good RS.
Wishing I could make Nationals this year. One of these times, it's going to happen.
No new recs for me. I've been reading a lot of research books lately. Fun stuff.
Hello From sunny and hot, hot, hot Nova Scotia!!!! I'm just coming off a fun weekend....my sister and niece came to visit so we had lots of fun, family time!!
Christy, enjoy your trip, I hope you have a wonderful convention. I look forward to hearing all abut it when you get back!!
Like many others, I read Maya Bank's Forged in Steele, it was a fantastic book. Right now I'm reading Catherine Mann's, Free Fall. It is book #4 in her Elite Force Series. I've only just started it but I love all of her books so I'm sure this one won't be any different!!
Have a great week all!!!!
Nicole
i check in weekly but haven't taken the time to post, so here's my reading list for the last couple of weeks!
Love in a Nutshell-Janet Evanovich and Dorian Kelly-I'm not finished reading this yet, but I have been very pleasantly surprised! so far a great read.
It Had to be You-Jill Shalvis-fabulous as usual
One Reckless Summer-Toni Blake-my first Blake read and enjoyable
Redneck Romeo-Lorelei James-you can't go wrong with a Lorelei book. fantastic
All the Big Sky books by Linda Lael Miller were terrific.
Thrown by a Curve-Jaci Burton was delicious.
we have rain today and texas and it is pure heaven!
have a great week!
I'm adding "Kill Shot" to my TBR list. Never can get enough romantic suspense.
Rain today and my pots of flowers are loving it! And me, too, because it's a day I don't have to water them and can spend the time reading!
This week's recommendations from me include Elle Casey's "Shine Not Burn," a delightful western contemporary that kept me laughing out loud. It's a "what happens in Vegas . . ." certainly DOES NOT STAY in Vegas book. One of those quick and fun-to-read books.
Also, Adriane Leigh's "The Mourning After." A new-to-me author whose style agreed with me and I can't wait for more from her.
Have a great trip to Atlanta, Christy! Wish I could pop by and say hi and share the chocolate!
So jelly about everyone going to RWA!! Sorry I have been MIA, been a busy couple of weeks. I haven't been reading a ton, but do have a few recommends:
Two of a Kind, Susan Mallery
Fatal Mistake, Marie Force
Shine Not Burn, Elle Casey
Laura Kaye's Anemoi series...North of Need, West of Want, South of Surrender
Have a great week everyone.
