Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Can't wait to hear about the books you loved last week.

I'm coming along with NOTHING TO LOSE and was excited to reach 25,000 words. I promised on my Facebook page that I would share a scene as soon as I reached that benchmark so stay tuned for a link to read the first scene!

Update: Here's the link to the excerpt. Hope you enjoy! NOTHING TO LOSE

We're just a little less than two months away from the release of MIDNIGHT LIES. I'm thrilled that early readers are loving Quinn and Samantha's love story. And I noticed that my publisher will be giving away 50 advanced copies on Goodreads. Sign-up begins Thursday, August 1. I'll pop on and give you a link as soon as it's live.

Also on Thursday, I'll be celebrating the UK release of SWEET JUSTICE! So be sure to come by for a chance to win a signed copy. I love Honor and Seth's story and the new cover is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to hold it in my hands!

No recommends from me today. In between 'business stuff', my main focus is writing, writing, writing. I want to get this book to out to you asap!

Hope everyone has a fabulous week. Be sure to leave your recommends and I'll come back in just a few hours to give you a link to the excerpt of NOTHING TO LOSE!

I'm reading a wonderful ARC - Sanctuary Island by Lily Everett aka Louisa Edwards. You won't have to wait long, it releases tomorrow.

Good news on the "Nothing to Lose" progress, Christy. Can't wait to read the excerpt.

I started Colleen Hoover's "Slammed" series and am really enjoying it. Also, read Rebecca Shea's debut "Unbreakable," a very emotional story -- well written and worthy of a recommendation.

Storms are churning in the skies above T-Town so I'm settling in for a day in the comfy chair with a good book! Hope everyone finds a good reading experience this week!

Christy, you tease.....loved what I read of Nothing to Lose, but ,well- now I want more!

No recommends from me this week and I might be absent for a bit, we are moving in two weeks and the chaos has begun.

I'll check back and am sure as always there will be more to add to my already huge TBR pile.

Have a great week all!

Hello All!!

Sorry I missed last week's recommend Monday...it was a busy week!!

Christy. I loved the snippet of NOTHING TO LOSE and can’t wait to get it into my hot little hands!!!!!

This week I have a Marliss Melton book to recommend and a 3-book series by Susan Vaughan.

Marliss' book isn't out yet, but should be released in the next week or two. It's called THE ENFORCER and it is the 3rd book in her Taskforce series. The storyline is fantastic and I am totally in love with the hero, I'm just still not sure if I like the heroin very much….but I loved the book overall!!! I should also note that I read an ARC and I know there was tweaking done after I received my copy.....hopefully the heroin became more likable...LOL!!!

The Susan Vaughan series is her Task Force Eagle series and it contains 1 novella and 2 full length novels. The novella is the first book and is called NEVER SURRENDER. The second and third novels are ONCE BURNED and TWICE A TARGET. I found the novella to be a bit choppy, almost like she wrote it as a full length novel but edited it down and took out some important parts. The two full length novels, however I LOVED!!! They were well written with great stories and characters!!

I hope everyone enjoys their week!!!

Hi Christy hi Everyone!
I am late again. Christy- that snippet you posted shows you are really a tease - now I have another book I can´t wait to read.

There was not much time for reading last week, but I started a book I waited a long time for. "Honor unraveled" is the third book in Elaine Levines Red Team series . I am halfway through and love it.
But it isn´t a standalone - so to really enjoy it one has to read the first two books before. "Edge of courage" and "Shattered Valour" are fabulous reads and I higly recommend the whole series.

Good luck in your writing cave Christy and Happy Reading Everyone 42 ndaarti

I am reading the second in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series...Dragonfly in Amber. There are 7 books in the series and I think they average around 800 pages each, so I struggled through the first book, but seem to be going pretty fast through the second...I am loving it so far.

Hey Everyone! Fabulous recommends once again. I picked up a couple already. Hope you did, too.

Thanks for the kind words on Nothing To Lose. Can't wait till I can share more with you.

Be sure to come by tomorrow's Recommend Monday. I'll be chatting about Running on Empty and some giveaways I have planned, leading up to the release of Midnight Lies.

See you tomorrow!
