Recommend Monday

Good Monday Everyone!

Hope you had a fantabulous week and weekend. Mine was filled with stuff like: "Oh my gosh, this is the best book I've ever written." "Oh my gosh, this is terrible, nobody's going to like this book." "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I wrote such a great book." "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I wrote such a bad book." "Oh my gosh..."

LOL You get the drift. I go through the same thing with each book. Amazing insanity. Poor hubby used to look at me like I'd lost all of my marbles. After 11 books, he's gotten used to the massive insecurity issues. Now he just looks very calmly at me and asks how much chocolate am I going to need. (:

But MIDNIGHT LIES, Ella Grace's second book in the Wildefire series, has been sent in and I can at last go: YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! Yippee. I'm done! I'm done! I'm done! I did end up loving this book and I'm so very much in love with Quinn Braddock. There's just something about a man who refuses to lose control. Sigh. Hope you will love him, too.

Now that deadline is over, I'll be headed back to London and CHANCES ARE. Can't wait to see what Jake and Angela have been up to. Last time I saw them, Angela was working undercover and Jake was about to blow a gasket.

Also, I have page proofs for MIDNIGHT SECRETS to polish up. This is the last chance I'll have to change anything. I'm looking forward to visiting with Zach and Savannah again. Love this couple!

Since I haven't had a chance to read in the last few weeks, I'm anxious to hear what you thought was fantastic lately. Need something wonderfully romantic, steamy, with a sigh worthy hero and a feisty heroine. Got any suggestions?

BTW, if you haven't signed up for my newsletter here or on my Ella Grace site, be sure to do that soon. I'll be sending out a newsletter this month filled with lots of information you don't want to miss.

Okay, I'm headed out to take care of bunches of stuff I had to let slide the last few weeks. Then I'll head back to Midnight for a quick visit. Also hope to get to London today, too.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. Now, tell us what we should be reading!

Good morning all,
Happy December!! I had a completely insane weekend with Nutcracker rehearsals and three shows. I'm off today to try and get some stuff done and I'm heading out for a walk with the dog in a few minutes. The weather is pretty nice here today, so I must take advantage of it!!!

The only things I read this past week were Pick Your Poison, a Bullet Catchers novella from Roxanne St. Claire, and Come a Little Bit Closer by Bella Andre. Gotta love the Sullivan clan!! This is a really good series!

Looking forward to meeting Crystal next weekend!!

I've read WED HIM BEFORE YOU BED HIM by Sabrina Jeffries, AN INDEPENDENT WIFE by Linda Howard, UNTIL THE SUN FALLS FROM THE SKY and WITH EVERYTHING I AM both by Kristen Ashley. They were all great books by 3 of my favorite authors.

Good morning everyone!
Christy doing a little happy dance that you finished Midnight Lies and have sent it off. That means it'll be in our hands before we know it. I'm sure Quinn will be as fabulous as every other hero you've written. A hero that has control at all times is wonderful...especially when his woman brings him to the breaking point. I can't wait to see how Samantha does that. I won't lie one other reason I'm excited you've sent ML off Chances Are will be the center of attention. :)

Kris I can't wait to meet you either!! Maybe we can tell Hope-less we went shopping and make her jealous. lol

My recommendations are:
Midnight's Lover-Donna Grant
Caden's Vow- Sarah McCarty (This book wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but... *shrug*)
I am reading Midnight's Warrior today.

Have a great week everyone!!

Hi Christy,

I can highly recommend Fever by Joan Swan. It has all the elements you're looking for. The second in the series is Blaze and Rush will be out in 2013.

Have a great week everyone and happy reading.

Good morning book buddies! The birds are chirping and it's going to be 80 degrees in Oklahoma today. Doesn't sound like December weather to me -- and I like cool crisp temps to get me in the holiday mood.

I read a new-to-me author Laura Miller's debut book entitled "Butterfly Weeds" and highly recommend it for those of you who just enjoy a wonderfully emotional and sweet romance. That it definitely was. Be sure and keep kleenex handy 'cause you'll need it.

I also read "Come a Little Closer" by Bella and enjoyed it along with so many other readers. Looking forward to Lori's story next.

I'm off to physical therapy which will definitely require an afternoon nap after that!!

Have a great week!

P.S. I forgot to mention the other hilariously funny and cleverly written book I read this past week. "Wallbanger" by Alice Clayton is highly recommended. Clive the cat adds extra support to my recommendation and the witty writing style is to be commended as well.

I recommend His Mistletoe Bride by Vanessa Kelly. Great holiday romance.
Have a good week. :)

Hi All,

The flu has everyone down and out in our house, and I so wish I could be enjoying this warm December weather.

I read Nightengale Way by Emily March, the latest in her eternity Springs series, and I think my favorite book on the series yet.
Congrats on getting the book finished, Christy. Have a great week everyone.

Hey Christy,
This was a good weekend for me, I got my aunt and uncle to the airport so they could go on their anniversary cruise. Then spent Sat. visiting with friends I have not seen in 2 years. Sunday I played catch up on doing laundry and reading JT Ellison's new book Edge of Black... this new series of hers is as good as the Taylor Jackson series.

Hi Kris, wow, that is a busy weekend. And how very cool that you're going to meet Crystal next weekend. Have fun!

Hi Alison! LOL It is a amazing that lots more dancing happens later in the evening at office parties. I always seemed to dance better much later in the evening. Although I'm not sure everyone who saw me dancing would agree. (: Hope you had a great birthday last week!

Hi Southern Girl! Great recommends! And welcome to the blog!

Hi Crystal! Thank you. I can't wait to share MIDNIGHT LIES with everyone. And I'm looking forward to getting back to CHANCES ARE. Hope to share the cover with everyone soon. Hope you and Crystal have fun next weekend!

Hi Oklanannie! Wow, 80 degrees in December is just wild. I'm not a fan of cold weather but definitely want it in December for Christmas. Hope your PT went well!

Hi Christy and Everyone,
I am late due to computer problems. Christy congratulations for turming in Midnight Lies - I can´t wait to read the Wildfire series and meet all those great characters.

Last week I read two books by an new to me author, Morgan Hannah Macdonald, "Sandman" and "Spirits in the trees" - both pretty good if you like action driven stories with a touch of paranormal.Especially reading the seond book "Spirits in the trees" was like watching an action movie ( there was this movie about a group of people who spent a weekend in a haunted house - I can´t remenber the title- but this book reminded me of this movie- does anyone know which movie that was ?.

Anyway - have a good week Everyone and happy reading

Chiming in late, as usual. ;-)
I'm so thrilled for your progress Christy! Can't wait to meet the new gang as well as catch up with the old.

My rec: Did You Miss Me by Karen Rose.
OMG. Amazingly emotional. She managed to wrap up some of my biggest fears in this one. (Thanks Elke!)

Hi Elke! Hope you got your computer problems fixed. Hate it when that happens. I never realize how dependent I am on mine until something happens. Thanks for the recommends. Love books that make you feel as though you're right in the action. Many Stephen King books are like that for me.

Hey Ronlyn! Thanks! Can't wait for you to meet the new gang, too.

And I'm in total envy that you read the new Karen Rose book already. Sounds like it's going to be another fabulous read.
