Recommend Monday

Good Monday All and Merry Christmas!

The big day has almost arrived. Santa's sleigh is loaded and headed to your house. Are you ready? I know there are millions of bright eyed boys and girls who definitely are.

As many of you already know, my fur-angel Blossom became a real angel last Wednesday. Preparing for Christmas in the midst of grief was probably helpful. With the need to concentrate on other things, we muddled through. Not happily but we got there, so we're giving ourselves points for that.

I'll soon be in the midst of family and friends and that's always a good place to be. I'm going to be away a while longer than I anticipated--at least through the new year. And since there's no Internet or phone service where I'm headed, I won't be able to announce the winners of the Kindle, LCR series, and B&N gift card until January 2. Be sure to check back and see if you're one of the winners. What a great way to start out 2013!

My plan is to return home with a completed CHANCES ARE. Writing the last few weeks has been sporadic at best but Angela and Jake are asking for their HEA and I'm anxious to give it to them.

Next year promises to be a busy one for me with the launching of the Ella Grace Wildefire series and more LCR books, along with some other self published works I'm anxious to get out to you. I hope you'll continue to come back here each Monday to recommend books and get recommendations.

With everything that's been going on lately, I didn't get the opportunity to send out a newsletter. However, I do plan to send one out in January with all sorts of newsy stuff I've not talked about so be sure you're signed up to receive both the Christy Reece and Ella Grace newsletters.

In the midst of holiday madness, I want to stop for a few moments and let you know how much you mean to me. Even though I don't always get the opportunity to answer each person individually, I sincerely appreciate you coming here each week and making your recommendations. I know there are many who rely on this blog to learn about the latest and greatest new releases or newly discovered gems. And I especially want to thank my readers. Your notes, messages, and emails encourage me and always make me smile. Thank you for wanting more LCR books, thank you for your excitement about the Wildefire series, and thank you for just being the wonderful readers that you are!

Christmas blessings to you and yours!

Now, tell us what great books we should be reading!

Hi Everyone!

Thank You Christy for giving all of us a place to share the great books we've read. Stopping by RM on Monday's is a great part of my week. RM was the first blog I started following and its introduced me to some great people :)

I only have one recommendation this week, and its a novella, A Mackenzie Family Christmas by Jennifer Ashley, a great lead into the Seduction of Elliot McBride :)

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!

As hard as it is to say goodbye to our furbabies, Blossom put up a good fight and now will await you at the Rainbow bridge- hugs to you.
I always look forward to coming here on Mondays to see what is happening! I have been reading a lot of Sci/Fi fantasy lately it seems. I just finished Terry Goodkinds- the First Confessor. And I am stll looking forward to Robert Jordan's final book in the Wheel of Time series. But today I started Dee Davis Double Danger.
I am also looking forward to Ella's book from Midnight!

Hi Christy and everyone...this has been a busy year filled with love and loss. I thank you Christy for having this little outlet to where I can come a share some of my book therapy with others.

This week I only have one recommendation. Scorched by Laura Griffin. The 6th in the Tracer series. I loved it.

I have just started the Chase Brothers series by Lauren Dane, and so far so good.

I leave tomorrow for Buffalo for 8 days. It is the karate world games, a week long tournament. Looking forward to seeing all of my karate family, but I am not looking forward to the late nights and travel worries. Merry Christmas everyone, and stay safe (and warm) this New Years.

Oh Christy, I am so so very sorry for the loss of your Blossom. Big hugs to you during this time.

Merry Christmas to all!

And thanks to everyone who posted such great recommends this year, and Christy for hosting RM. I have found so many new books and authors from RM, it has been wonderful.

I reread Mr. Perfect last week. Not much time and pulled it off my shelf to take on our trip to my parents. Love that book, one of my all time favorites.

Have a wonderful holiday all, need to scoot off to bed so Santa can make his way to our house!

I am so sorry to hear about Blossom. It is heartbreaking to lose a furbaby.

I was so busy on Mon I totally forgot to stop by (I remembered at 5 am this morning!). But it was a good Christmas and now I'm back to work today.

My only recommend for the week is Dee Davis Double Danger. It was pretty good.
