Happy Friday!

Hi Everyone-

Looks like it's going to be a cold, wet and snowy weekend. Perfect weather to do two of my most favorite things in the whole wide world. Yep, you got it...write and read!!!

I did hear a rumor of a little football game being played on Sunday, so might have to check that out too. So those are my weekend plans. What about you?

Yesterday, I finished up page proofs for LAST CHANCE and sent them on their way. Every time I read this book, I fall more in love with McKenna and Lucas. And I hope you will too.

Oh, and when I returned home yesterday, I found a box of books! You guessed it. My author copies of NO CHANCE. Yay!!! They're gorgeous and look just like they do on my website. I can't wait for you guys to see them.

I'm in the midst of ordering bookmarks and I've got to tell you, I'm almost as excited about them as I am about my CHANCE covers. They're so pretty!

As I mentioned to you a few weeks ago, I'm going to be doing a round of blogs and interviews around the time that NO CHANCE releases. I'm excited that I'll be blogging at Borders True Romance site on Monday, February 22. So please mark your calendars for that. Next week, I'll post again all the blogs I'll be visiting. Would love to see you at each one!

Our Monday group is growing and I'm thrilled! We've gotten some wonderful recommendations, which is great for readers and for authors. And how fabulous was it that Stephanie Tyler dropped by this week? Did you guys notice that she made the NYT list with Hold on Tight? How terrific is that? And it was well deserved. She is such a talented author.

Okay, I'm off to do some writing. Don't forget to drop by on Monday and tell us about all the fabulous books you read this week. Also, on Wednesday, I'll pop in and give you guys a CHANCE to win an early copy of NO CHANCE!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Stay warm and enjoy life to the fullest!

Congrats on finishing the page proofs. Have a good weekend. We're bracing for a "big" snow storm in my area, too. So, I should be ready to discuss new reads on Monday.

Hey Jennifer, thanks! We're just expecting rain here. Seems like it's been raining forever! Stay warm and enjoy those books. Look forward to hearing on Monday what you enjoyed.

Hey all, if you get the CHANCE, go over to the Random House site. You can click from one of my book pages. They've posted an audio excerpt of NO CHANCE. I think it's wonderful! The reader, Coleen Marlo, does a marvelous job of conveying both Skylar and Gabe.

Let me know what you think!

Congrats on receiving your author copies. We might get 6-12 inches of snow. Have a great weekend.

Jane, 6-12 inches of snow! Wow. I guess I won't be complaining about 1/2 inch of rain then. (:

Stay warm and check in on Monday and tell us about a great read!

Christy,

2/23 is almost here! Yay!! Can't wait to read it - and to not have to wait so long before we get to read SECOND CHANCE is an added bonus! :)
The audio excerpt was amazing. Was is odd to hear someone else's voice using your characters' words?
Hope everyone stays warm and dry this weekend. There are rumors that we could be getting snow early next week, but I think it may just be rain - again.
Having Stephanie Tyler chat with us was great. Who can we invite next Monday? :)

Chrsity - books & bookmarks!! Are you teasing us with this info? That's what annoys me about romance authors. They're so damn good at writing foreplay LOL. Is there ANY CHANCE you'll share? I know you don't have a book named "any chance" but in case people want a 4th book you can use that title.

Hey Kara, yes, February 23 is almost here! Can't believe it.

And it was kind of surreal to hear the words I'd only heard in my head read by someone else. I love the inflection that she gave Skylar and Gabe. She makes Skylar sound both kind and innocent. Which she is. And she made Gabe sound young, awkward and disillusioned, which he is. I can't wait to hear the entire book!

We'll see if we can find another fabulous author to stop by. I know Mary has talked to one of our favorites and invited her. I'll see if I can get in touch with her, just to see if she could stop in and say hi.

Have a fabulous weekend. Going to watch some football?

Mary, I am a tease, aren't I? But wow, the bookmarks are so beautiful. And NO CHANCE is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to for you guys to see them.

As soon as the bookmarks come in, I'll let everyone know. Then you guys can send me your address and I'll send you some. (:

Hope you're feeling loads better!

And happy first date anniversary on February 23! I love those kinds of anniversaries. Brings back so many fun memories.
